After nearly 10 years of sailing with the Royal Netherlands Navy, I realized that I hadn’t captured enough of the incredible places and moments I experienced along the way.

So I picked up my camera and started documenting the world through my own lens.

🌍 From Japan to Paris
📸 From stunning aquariums to the Dutch coastline
⛰️ From breathtaking heights to hidden depths

On this account, I’ll take you along to unique destinations, beautiful landscapes, and unforgettable experiences. Not just the well-known locations, but also the hidden gems that deserve to be discovered.

Hello Spring!
Each spring these tulips grow in plenty in the “bollenstreek” of The Netherlands 🌷

Endless ribbons of red stretch across the land, painting the fields with color and life. From above, it feels like nature itself decided to create art—perfect rows, vibrant blooms, and a quiet rhythm that only spring can bring.

A reminder that sometimes the most breathtaking beauty grows slowly, season by season. 🌱✨

Tucked near the Belfry, this little bronze figure has a mischievous grin and a hand gesture that says “look here!”. Its name means “breast enticer”, a nod to Ghent’s playful folklore and humor. A quirky reminder that this city has always had a bold, rebellious spirit 💛
