A retired climbing rope, with a lot left to give.

When AWA came to HAE, a vision quickly took shape. But the result was yet to be tested.

Mat took some old climbing ropes and AWA bottles into the mountains, then started experimenting by hand. He was determined to take them to new heights, and a couple of constructions later, he did.

It’s a familiar way things come together at HAE.

Work with what you have.
Try something new.
Refine the form.
Make it last.

HAE took an AWA bottle designed for thermal performance and added a touch from their world: climbing rope, handwork, and a piece of Alpine soul.
