Happy International Beer Day🍺🌍

Five International Beer Days ago, we were students in a dorm room at HKUST, learning to brew off YouTube with a bag of bread nobody wanted. 🍞

Since then: 200 tonnes of bread saved. 50,000 litres brewed. It took us three years to reach 30 stores, and in the next three months, we’ll add 300 more across three countries.

But we’ve never really been a beer company. We’re liquid impact. Every can is 20g of bread rescued and 90kg of CO2 balanced, and that maths is the only reason any of this was ever worth doing.

So today, we wanted you to hear it first:

→ More beers
→ More non-alc, with SIP by Breer
→ More countries starting with Singapore, then Vietnam, India, the UK and the US

Everything about Breer was .hk. Made in Hong Kong, for a better Hong Kong. But there are 1.3 billion tonnes of food wasted every year, and that number doesn’t stop at our border. So .hk is becoming .com.

Waste isn’t waste until you waste it. We just decided not to.

The Route: Hit multiple stops across Hong Kong—get a drink or coffee at every stop and conquer fun fitness challenges along the way.

What better way to celebrate Halloween than blending costumes, community, and a run?

Just Run Drink Rave is a 6km progressive social loop packed with fitness challenges, drink rewards, and good vibes from start to finish!

The exact bar stops along the route are being kept top-secret for an added element of surprise—you’ll only find out where the challenges and drink rewards are hidden later! 🤫🏃‍♂️🍹

Costumes are highly encouraged—run fast, party hard, and let’s get spooky! 🎃

We recently tried @drinkbreer, made in Hong Kong!🍺 They brew using surplus food from local bakeries and businesses, giving food waste a second life 🌱🍞

We tried 4 of the 7 taps:

🍺 1. New Drop — West Coast IPA, 6.3% ⭐⭐⭐✨
Bold and slightly bitter, with a tropical hint. Very refreshing.

🍊 2. Mandarin Sour, 4% ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brewed with surplus white bread and orange peels from CNY mandarin oranges. Fresh and citrusy with a little sourness.

🍍 3. Bolo Bao IPA, 6.3% ⭐⭐⭐✨
Made using surplus pineapple buns from Hong Kong bakeries! Slightly bitter and more intense, but such a fun local twist. A Hong Kong beer for sure 🇭🇰

🍵 4. Matcha Sando Cream Ale, 7.5% ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
The sweetest of the ones we tried. Quite smooth and creamy, with a hint of matcha.
