From the Cape Floral Kingdom to the wild beauty of Mauritius. 🌿🇲🇺

Monatea is on the move.

While Tsepo spends the week opening doors, meeting buyers and exploring opportunities in a new market, our cans are getting a pretty spectacular introduction to the island too.

Taking a little piece of the Cape with us, wherever we go. 🌍

Rooted here. Made here. Proudly ours. 🇿🇦

Monatea has always been about more than what’s inside the can.

Our name comes from the Sesotho word “monate” - something good, enjoyable, nice. Our Rooibos is rooted in the Cape Floral Kingdom, one of the most extraordinary places on earth. Our flavours celebrate unique African botanicals. And the patterns that have shaped our identity draw inspiration from the Basotho Seana Marena.

Different places. Different traditions. Different stories. Brought together in something distinctly South African.

Heritage Day reminds us that while we each have our own cultures, traditions and stories, they form part of something bigger - a South Africa that belongs to all its people.

From our heritage, to our people. Happy Heritage Day.
