Phenomal day at Dixie Days!
We brought 252+ cans thinking that was plenty. We sold out and had to restock mid event.

The best part was watching people try öl brew for the first time. One woman said it’s finally a caffeine free drink that actually tastes good, so she has something to reach for later in the day. Another told us she never thought she liked malt until ours. And a @davismarket.stgeorge regular who walked past us for a month finally gave it a shot and loved it.

What do a CIA officer, a mental health therapist, a shutter company owner, and a former frozen yogurt franchise CEO have in common?
They’re the founders of a beverage company called öl brew, the first Fruit + Malt nonalcoholic soda to hit American shelves.

And I’ll tell y’all…the drama in the drink biz is for real.
But here in the beverage jungle, with lions and tigers and bears, oh my…we are surviving and even finding the beauty in it.

People are what make this journey worth it.
We made öl brew nonalcoholic and without caffeine or adaptogens intentionally. Because this is a drink for EVERYONE. At any time of day and nearly any occasion.

2026 St. George Marathon

1st place runner from Washington county 🥇(previous best was 5th)

2:26:39 (2nd fastest marathon)

12th place overall (My best placement at the race)

Incredibly grateful for my people, my health, and the day I had. It wasn’t the day I was hoping for 6 weeks ago but I’m greatful it went as well as it did all things considered. My right leg and left foot were giving me issues for about 6 weeks leading up to the race so my miles were way down very early.

The “A” goal was to run 2:19:59 this year. I admit that I wasn’t locked in enough to give myself the chance. Then my small injuries cut my miles more. Then it was 60degrees before the start of the race, I knew it was a placement day, not a time day. I adjusted and just raced people. I barely payed attention to the pace, I just raced based on the feel of the pace. I was gassed start to finish on this one. Race recap is live on my Strava @ sam fish. The city of St. George put together a huge prize pool for the top runners in this year’s 50th St. George anniversary marathon. I won $2,500 for being the first finisher from St. George area. I am grateful to have raced the way I did on Saturday.

I look at all the wins from this build.

New weekly mileage PR of 75 miles
New monthly mileage PR of 260+ (August)
Ability to run a 2:26 having ran less than 120 miles in September.
Deepened relationships with my many running friends
Many workouts completed with @quintonread and @rex_mart1n.

The @sgsilverbacks are stronger than ever🦍
First time the silverbacks have held the title of fastest St. George marathon finisher in the area.
Monkeys stronger together!🦍🦍

Shout out to @drinkolbrew for giving out so many cans of their amazing drink at the finish line. Apple is my favorite flavor and it saved me after my race on a hot day😂

Huge shout out to Quinton for developing the training plan we stuck to from June till marathon day. I couldn’t do half of what I’ve done without the people surrounding me.
