Football is something in life only few get to experience. I joined because I started genuinely loving the how the sport is played and the dedication, hard work, and life lessons involved in the game. I loved being around this team and all the new friends I made since summer weights started. Some of the guys would be at practices and up at five in the morning in the summer no matter what even if they got injured. The game has great energy and I loved the environment such as when your in the lockeroom with your team and everyone is locked in, when the national anthem plays and you get chills all over your body, seeing your town, friends and family all showing up to your games cheering you on some even in the cold and rain. That’s not it. Being excited and nervous before games even if you don’t play because you want the best for your team, all the Jimmy Johns sandwiches you’d down with your homies after school before home games, the amazing church guys that Coach got to preach and pray for you, and even the amazing fight song that the band would always play when you run out of the lockeroom before games, in pep rallys, and after plays. I gained respect for my teammates because I saw see how tired they would be in the morning before strength and knowing that they have a long day ahead of them and knowing that at practice they would have to get ruff on the line, do conditioning, perform great in practice striving to get more reps, playing time and to impress the coaches. After all that they would go home with bruises all over their body and do homework and some even having to use tylenol and biofreeze all the time and being too tired to shower at the end of the day. I loved seeing Bryson Unzueta push us in practice when we were tired or not going hard, I loved the communication that our team had and more. I cried when I found out I was out for the season and I cried when we lost our last game. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me before surgery my hand is almost fully healed and for coming to our games. I would not want to be anywhere else than with my team im happy that we had a winning season got the hatchet. I love y’all like a second family❤️‍🔥🏈 by @drippy_cesar
