The suffering shall continue!
Sometimes my golf life is a blooper reel for real!
You start strong with a new sleeve of balls at Hole 1. By the time you get to the back nine, any old ball picked up as you look for your lost new ones, suffices for the remainder of the round 😆😆😆😆

I owe this man right here @pauloderaofficial gratitude for moulding me to the rugby player I became and was (when I peaked).
I bumped into him at @kearsneycollege at the Grant Nkomo week. He taught me the basics of rugby when I picked up the sport at the age of 15, and I never looked back. Paul himself a decorated rugby player in both 7s and 15s, representing Kenya at the highest level, also Kenya 15s Head Coach, and to becoming the Director of Rugby at the Kenya Rugby Union years later. Never would I have thought I would meet him in the most unlikely of places, let alone country, after 25 years.

This past week I achieved a major milestone in my CAD #Recovery journey. Very grateful for the support and words of encouragement from family and friends, and the sheer determination and will to live, laugh and love.

From playing touch rugby when I was meant to be recovering at home, to going for parkruns, doing a hyrox simulation with rugby players, being stretched out on a reformer doing pilates, countless of hours spent on strength conditioning, regaining lost weight and muscle mass, and running a 10k in under 47 minutes… all these have paid off!
