The A.C. Jackson Wellness Center Adult Basketball League Championship was about much more than basketball. It was about bringing people together, investing in our community, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.I was grateful to see Dr. Jermaine Johnson, Democratic nominee for Governor of South Carolina, and my father, Senator Darrell Jackson Sr., take time to be present and support this community event. That’s what servant leadership looks like.Titles don’t make leaders—service does. The best public servants remain accessible to the people they represent.
