POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So not many words can describe the pain in my heart yesterday. I lost a friend, a brother. But he gained so much more! He got to meet our Lord and Savior. For anyone that knew Dan "BatDan" Sturk, knew he was definitely a one of a kind guy. But I will tell you this, his actions radiated Jesus! Was he perfect, absolutely not! None of us are, but One, but now he is. It has been absolutely the hardest loss in my life thus far. For over the past 20 years, Dan has been a constant in my life, always involved in my sons life, Noah, and bringing joy, happiness, and laughter to all around him. SO MANY STORIES I COULD TELL!!! Like he ALWAYS had to get up soooooo early to be @harpercars Harper Cars and Coffee in Knoxville at the mall, JUST TO GET HIS DASH PLAQUE! But i went. So many memories that were made. I loved him as my younger brother, still do, always will. Even though Dan was faced with multiple physical challenges, he always found a way to overcome those, no matter what. He was my inspiration. For anyone who knows me, I never cry, but I have not stopped since I found out New Year's Eve morning. I feel Dan is probably giving me that look right now and saying "STOP IT STEPHEN! YOU'RE BEING RIDICULOUS!" I love you bro, and so many others did too. The support you had yesterday proves that, the ones that wanted to be there but couldn't, they never stopped messaging me to show their love for you. Never doubt that you were loved brother. I love you brother, can't tell you enough, I know you loved me too. Until we meet again. God Bless everyone.

I don't know where to start Batdan. You were my best friend, my brother, my family, my car show companion, travel buddy, and Noah's Uncle Dan. I'm heartbroken. One of a kind. An inspiration to everyone that knew you. Over the years we've had a lot of memories made that I will cherish forever. Going to miss our talks over the next show, trip, or build we wanted to do. I love you brother and Noah loves his Uncle Dan. Thank you for being you and always being there for me and Noah. Until we meet again brother. by @drksidegen
