Back at the big 48” x 48” piece of cherry. Lots more walnut and black India ink to go before some acrylic highlights— not in a rush.

I had a great time meeting the guys from Mastodon and attending their concert last week. I was able to gift a set of my art prints for each band member. The prints covered select songs from their discography. I might hit another concert in Greensboro NC next month.

I was at the Mastodon (@mastodonrocks ) “meet and greet” and concert in Philly last night. Overwhelmingly excellent! I had the opportunity to gift each of the band members with a limited-edition (just 7 of 8 prints per set) of my Mastodon artwork. I’ll post photos from the “meet and greet” when I have them. In the meantime, here are the packages of prints I gifted to each band member. John (@aperfectmonster ) wasn’t at the meet and greet, but I gave an extra set to Brann (@creamale ) and asked if he would give it to him on my behalf. Individually, they represent songs from across the span of their discography. I titled the Mastodon skulls print as “Mastodon Meet and Greet” and had all the band members sign it. They all were so kind and appreciative. @billy_butterslax @nickjohnstonmusic @nogstaeffel
