To My Husband, Mr. Mitchell | Happy Anniversary Handsome! 🫶🏾

The past year has stretched us, shaped us, and brought us closer in ways I never imagined. And through every season, the vows we took at the altar continue to mean more and more to me.

Every time I look at you, I’m reminded of just how good God has been to me and to our union. Four years later, and I still thank Him for allowing me to do life with you!

Truly grateful that MY GOD DON’T PLAY ABOUT ME. 🙏🏾✨

The story behind @shescoredsports_ becoming what it is today makes me emotional every time.

There were seasons that didn’t make sense.
Spaces I outgrew before I even realized it.
Moments that cost me more than I expected.

BUT GOD.

God kept His hands on me.
God kept MY calling alive.
God gave me the strength to push through when walking by FAITH was the only option.

To host our 2nd Annual Beyond the Game: Girls in Sports Celebration in Norfolk… AND witness Virginia Beach, the city that raised me, become the FIRST city to proclaim She Scored Sports: Empowering Female Athletes Day? 🥹✨

That wasn’t coincidence.
That was confirmation.
That’s God.

From playing basketball and growing up in this city… to now building something that pours BACK into the girls here, that full-circle moment will forever be stamped on my heart.

This journey has never been just about me. It’s about the amazing female athletes of Hampton Roads. It’s about purpose bigger than platforms. It’s about obedience over comfort.

To every person who has supported, sponsored, prayed, shared, volunteered, partnered, or simply believed in this vision …. THANK YOU. It truly takes a village, and I am beyond grateful!

When I say I’m walking by faith… I mean REALLY walking by faith. And I’m forever grateful that God never took His hands off me. 🤍✨

The BEST IS YET TO COME! 🙏🏾

History made. Big dreams ahead. ⛳️

Ocean Lakes Junior Kaylee Bell helped lead the Dolphins to their first regional golf championship in school history—and this week, she’s heading back to the VHSL State Championship for the second time! 🏆

She’s also a two-time Virginia State Golf Association champion and an incoming ODU Monarch. We caught up with our DICK’S House of Sport September Athlete of the Month to talk big wins, golf-course snacks and what’s next. 💚💛

POV: You’re building the vision, covering the stories and running on four hours of sleep. 😂🎬✨

One very LONG Saturday behind the scenes with me—from our first Back-to-School Student-Athlete Playbook at DICK’S House of Sport to shining the light on the ladies rocking the sidelines at the Battle of the Bay! 💕📣

None of it would have been possible without the people who continue to show up and help bring this visions to life, @the_sportz_doc | @qjonesplatt & @favour_pso | @capbymoni | @tiffanymvson | @nextlevel_jeff | @shiningwithdi ! ❤️

Was it chaotic? Absolutely.
Was I exhausted? Without question.
Would I do it all over again? EVERY SINGLE TIME.

One full day. Two major events. One mission: empowering female athletes and making sure their stories are seen, heard and celebrated across the 757.

We’ve Got Her Covered. 💕🎥

HISTORY MADE IN PORTSMOUTH! 🔥✨🏈

High school girls flag football officially kicked off tonight as Manor and Churchland competed in the city’s first-ever matchup!

Following the game, we caught up with two of the young ladies, one from each team, to talk about what it meant to take the field, represent their schools and become part of Portsmouth sports history.

Manor secured the 31–13 victory, but this moment was bigger than the final score. These athletes are helping pave the way for the future of girls flag football, and this is only the beginning!

Congratulations to both teams on making history! 💪🏾🏈

We’re still smiling about our first Back-to-School Student-Athlete Playbook Event! ✨📚✏️📓📸

In partnership with DICK’S House of Sport, we brought female student-athletes from across Hampton Roads together for a day filled with professional photos, media practice, meaningful conversations and plenty of fun!

From learning how to own their stories to discussing mental health, confidence and life beyond the game, every part of the day was designed to remind these young women that who they are matters just as much as how they perform.

A huge thank-you to our incredible panelists, volunteers, media team, families, athletes and everyone who helped bring this vision to life. And a special thank-you to DICK’S House of Sport for continuing to invest in female athletes and the Hampton Roads community.

This was bigger than an event—it was an experience created to help the next generation feel seen, supported and prepared.

We’ve got her covered. 💗
