We made it through…I will post the eulogy tomorrow. Now to process and rest. After tomorrow, I will take a social media break and much needed rest. Thank you God for grace. There’s no way I could’ve done this without you. No way!

Thank you to my family, my Pastor Shawn Drains for his prayer. For my Godparents support and presence, Pastor Thomas Bess and Dr. Gretchen Bess. For my spiritual covering Bishop and Lady Kimbrough who prayed for me early this morning. I love ya’ll beyond words.

I’m grateful for all the prayers I received today and yesterday. To my good sis Angela Reid Lindsey, your prayer was everything to me. I can’t thank you enough. You all helped me stand today.

Now it’s MY time to cry and process. I plan to steal away to do just that.

Gracious and Holy God, bless us this day with Your presence, favor, and peace. Order our steps and direct our paths. Today, we declare that we are covered by Your grace and strengthened by Your power. No obstacle will be greater than the God who goes before us. Doors will open, purpose will prevail, and peace will guard our hearts. This day is blessed, and so are we!

Momma, I made it!!!! 🧡✨

Took a flight to New York to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of my mother’s transition in a way that feels so fitting. We watched The View DAILY with my brother Hermon, so being here today is extra special. 🥹🧡

And today is also my baby brother Gary’s birthday! 🎉🎂

So today, I plan to celebrate them both by honoring Momma’s life, while celebrating another year of life for my brother.

And Soror Lorac… I wore my bright colors and ORANGE just for you! 🧡😂

What a great morning hosting the South Atlanta District Social Action Prayer Breakfast! 🙌🏾 We were honored to welcome Senator Jon Ossoff as our guest speaker.

Kudos to the Chair of the Atlanta North Georgia Social Action Commission (Dr. Wilhemenia Jordan and team), and Dr. John Foster for all of his work and for allowing me the honor of serving as Worship Leader.

Grateful for my pastor, Rev. Shawn D Drains, who continues to encourage me to spread my wings in the logistical and administrative work of the church.

Kudos to SugahPlum Events Inc and our Kitchen Committee Coordinator, Shelia Skrine for a delicious breakfast and keeping everything moving on our tight schedule! 👏🏾

And shout out to my sister Dr. Hope Sutton for having my back as we “navigated the terrain.” 😂 #InsideJoke

And my friend Daeryl “Scooter” Booker who SANG THE HOUSE DOWN, per usual! 🙌🏽
