This patient presented with an over-projected, long and asymmetric nose, which was not in harmony with the rest of the facial profile. A long or over-projected nose can create several concerns: • The nose may dominate the face and make other facial features appear less balanced. • The nasal tip may project too far forward or appear droopy. • Asymmetry can become more noticeable from the front and three-quarter views. • In some patients, associated structural problems can also contribute to nasal obstruction or difficulty breathing. 🫁 FROM CPAP TO A WIDER AIRWAY — SLEEP APNOEA CORRECTION WITH JAW SURGERY This X-ray demonstrates the significant widening of the airway after corrective jaw surgery in a patient with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Before surgery, the patient required CPAP support during sleep. After surgery, the patient is currently not using CPAP, following postoperative assessment.
