Taryn Morris needed two kills to reach 100 for her college career. She finished A&M vs. Rice with 10. Morris added nine digs and four blocks, while Amalia Simmons led Rice with six kills as both teams wrapped up nonconference play. No. 16 Texas A&M earned the 3-0 win (25-22, 25-12, 25-19) at Reed Arena.

Freshman Zora Bello contributed an impressive seven assists and four digs for the Owls.

She changed the expectations. She changed the scoreboard. She changed the game.

Last night Jordan Larson helped Nebraska take down Austin 3-1 and she made it look like she’s got another 18 years left in those legs. 25-19. 25-18. 13-25. 25-21 in the fourth to close it out. The Governor still governs.

But what I keep thinking about isn’t just tonight. It’s the fact that she made a generation of young women believe that volleyball, their sport, could fill arenas and win gold medals and matter.

It was a blessing to photograph this woman in her final season. Trust me when I tell you the camera doesn’t lie. She still plays with everything she’s got.

Sunday courtside with Pitt and SMU at Moody Coliseum. I love photographing volleyball at this level. Between the all out effort of the dive, the reach above the net, the scramble to keep a rally alive, and the emotion after a big point, these athletes give me so much to capture.

Pitt took the match 3–0 (25–12, 25–21, 26–24), finishing with six straight points after SMU led 24–20 in the third set.

Olivia Babcock led Pitt with 20 kills on .567 hitting, adding five blocks. Abbey Emch matched her season-high with nine blocks, including the solo block that finished the match.

For SMU, Favor Anyanwu delivered 11 kills on .533 hitting and five blocks. Victoria Harris recorded nine digs and reached 1,000 career digs.

Getting to capture these elite athletes is something I really enjoy. I’m always looking for the frame that shows the effort, the concentration, or a little of the person behind the performance. Those moments are what keep me excited to come back.

Washington State at Texas State. 🏐📸

The Bobcats took the second set to even the match, but the Cougars claimed the final two for a 3-1 win at Strahan Arena.

Caelyn Robel led the Bobcats with 15 kills, while Anna Blaine recorded her seventh career double-double.

One more home game on Wednesday before the Bobcats take the road.

After dropping the second set Thursday night, the Bobcats took the next two to finish a 3–1 win at Strahan Arena.

India Bennett led the way with 14 kills, while Ashley Euston added eight without an attack error. Jasmine Purakal led the back row with 11 digs, and Anna Blaine added 10 of her own. At the net, the Bobcats outblocked Gonzaga 11–4, with India Bennett and Ashley Euston finishing with five each.

It was a great night of volleyball! 🏐

After our @vypehouston media day, I was hoping to catch these ladies on the court. Last night was my chance and it was a 3-1 victory as they faced off against Foster HS. NCAA volleyball has taken me to seven Texas arenas so far this season. I’ve already captured moments I wouldn’t have wanted to miss. 🏐

From Texas A&M fans filling Reed Arena to the wall of sound inside Gregory Gym, every stop has brought its own energy. I’ve photographed the Bobcats celebrating at Strahan Arena, SMU’s dynamic play at Moody Coliseum, and the Baylor green filling Ferrell Center. It has been electric!

There’s still more season ahead, more moments to capture, and more stories to tell.

Colorado won in Waco but Baylor made the finish a fight. 🏐

No. 24 Colorado earned a 3–1 win over No. 21 Baylor at the Ferrell Center last night, their first win in Waco since 2017.

After dropping the first two sets, the Bears responded with a 25–11 third set win before Colorado claimed the fourth.

Jenna Ylivainio passed 500 assists this season for Colorado, while Ines Losada matched her career high with five aces.

Across the net, Baylor’s Ksenia Rakhmanchik extended her double-digit-kill streak to 23 straight matches, finishing with 11.

The final photo is of the victorious crawler who left all competitors behind during the race that proceeded set 3.

Five straight wins for the Aggies. 🏐

No. 14 Texas A&M swept Alabama last night with 5,917 fans in Reed Arena. That’s three straight sweeps and a 2–0 start in SEC play.

Gabi Rodriguez put on her usual display of dynamic defensive play with 13 digs, her 12th consecutive match in double figures. Kyndal Stowers added eight kills and three aces, matching her career high from the service line.
