Been drilling flow and flow flip for tooooo many years now... It was time to take it to feet 👣 And it finally happened, on the last day of the last rigs of the season here in Agonda 🙌🏾🤙🏾🥰💖

A common pattern emerges from all of the sports I love, which we can also apply to life in general: Fall/fail -> Learn from it -> Get back up and do it again -> Repeat. Results might take time, and the progress might be hard to see, but one day it will click into place and have you wondering why you thought it was so hard 😆🙏🏾☺️
Growth takes time, patience, and lots of stoke!

Thnx for the vids (@_vaibhavgupta and @thanuja_kartik ) and also thanks to the whole Highline squad for showing up day after day for pirate rigs and official rigs and bringing the stoke and the love. ☝🏾💗 Allez laaaaaaaa

Bonus footy at the end of me walking (which maybe I am also starting to enjoy 🤷🏽‍♀️) and trying some other stuff to feet…after several bounces. Gotta start somewhere ☺️

Looking back fondly to the times when I had two functioning arms… (and two* feet) ☺️ I had finally begun nailing the flow flip and was getting it into a few combos, can’t wait to get strong again and get back on the line 🙌🏾

High quality capture as per usual from @knivesthai in one of my favorite WV spots @fourthmooncamp in Seneca 🥰🤸🏾‍♀️❤️

“…it’s a Highline thing.” And it’s an Instagram thing to remove your original audio and voiceovers 🤦🏾‍♀️

Last weekend was magical af. ✨💖Big shout out to all of the organizers, riggers, and friends new and old who brought the stoke, along with the perfect amount of chill for a few days of fabulous fun in the forest being fairies…I mean princesses! Special shout out to @fullmanda for bringing the extra special princess stoke 👸🏾🙌🏽🫶🏽 Dreams can come true 🥰🤸🏽‍♀️👗🤙🏾😘 love you all.

Meet Mel 🌿

Mel is happiest when she is showing people that their capabilities far exceed their own expectations. She has been teaching people this across all aspects of her own mercurial existence...from tennis instructor, to neuroscience mentor, to climbing, yoga, energy balance, slackline and highline instructor, it all boils down to the same theme and after spending some time with her you will get to know it too: You ARE amazing and you can do this! Just let her show you ☺️

If you want to get to know Mel and learn how amazing you can be, come by the shop and sign up for a climbing or slackline lesson with her. And be sure to check out her events all over India with @climblikeawoman ❤️

Soon offering crossover events with highline and surfing as well !

Dr. Melissa Batson (Mel) is a neuroscientist, climber, highliner, and co-founder of Climb Like A Woman.

In this conversation on equity and access to the outdoors, Mel talks about how knowledge is only part of the equation. Feeling confident and capable in outdoor spaces matters too, especially in the context of years of being told, in different ways, that the outdoors are not for women.

In this conversation, she shares what developed her confidence outdoors.

Women in the Outdoors is a series of conversations with women from the Athlos community, exploring their perspectives on safety, access and what it means to feel comfortable outdoors.

A few more days from life in and around Auroville ☺️ don't ask me how many, I have no clue! From cycling down to the beach to surf, to finding out there's a climbing gym here, to lunches with the most random assortment of amazing women, to meeting so many great people who love to skate and cook and share together, it's just been a whirlwind of loveliness 💖💗 And the morning tour of Matrimandir was some much needed silent/inward reflection on it all 🙏🏾🪷 Lol with utmost gratitude, #blessed for sure! 🙌🏾🤙🏾✨ by @drmelbatson
