Misogyny is a gateway for gun violence. Don’t believe me? Read the data, specifically the work of Cynthia Miller-Idriss. by @drmichellemorkert

I see you. I believe you. I have your back. by @drmichellemorkert

Remember your history. Suffrage was always about human rights. That’s why men voted for it during WW I - that and brilliant strategizing from suffragists. The other racist reality is that the 19th Amendment only granted voting rights to white wealthy women. It wasn’t until 1965 and the Voting Rights Act that all women in this country gained the right to vote. That right is being chipped away at daily in 2026 by the patriarchy in the form of women who say that they would gladly sacrifice their vote to support their families. Don’t fall for it. That doesn’t even make sense. We know that voting is a human right and any country that takes away that right is violating the Declaration of Human Rights. by @drmichellemorkert

@jennylevin_for_il is committed to making life easier, fairer, and healthier for IL Dist 51. She knows how to navigate high stakes moments, make a plan, and take action. She is the definition of a trailblazer and she has my unwavering endorsement. by @drmichellemorkert

@grasseforstaterep shows up in the streets, in Springfield, and in her District. She is the justice-focused, honest, bold leader we need in 2026. Rep. Grasse gets things done and she has my full endorsement. #trailblazer by @drmichellemorkert

I mean…who doesn’t bring feminist books to a talk about patriarchy hosted at a campaign office?

When smart women lead, we all win.

When compassionate women lead, we all win.

When human rights and dignity centered women lead, we all win

When persistent, inconvenient women lead, we all win,

When WE lead, we all win.

Vote for our collective win in November 3rd. 🗳️
Let’s make it DECISIVE! 🔥🌊

Thank you to Carina Santa Maria for Illinois Senate for supporting last night’s Pop-Up conversation - Patriarchy is on the Ballot.

We filled the room. Deconstructed the playbook of the patriarchy. And strategized in community.

That’s my kind of Thursday night fun! 🔥💛
