This lovely patient was unhappy with her smile and wanted to improve it. I gave her a 3 unit porcelain bridge and 21 minimal prep porcelain veneers and they look stunning and natural. She said she loves her new smile! I built out her smile by widening and lengthening her teeth. She loves the shape, the white color, and symmetry and how natural they look.

She said she found me online after researching top cosmetic dentists in New York and can’t believe that the moment has come to reveal her new smile. What convinced her to come see me were my great Google reviews and the amazing before and after photos on my Instagram. She said that I was the best cosmetic dentist to do the job.

My son Ryan did a great job at his Tae Kwon Do belt test. He performed this amazing 360 back kick and 360 hook kick. He is working hard and trying to get his black belt in the next year. I see him getting stronger and more accurate in his skills, I see the progression over the years and the dedication that he has for the sport. Keep up the good work son! 🙌😊 by @drmikewei

This lovely patient was not happy with her smile and she wanted to improve it. Her teeth were discolored, misaligned, and not proportional. She wanted whiter, fuller, wider and straighter teeth that’s exactly what I gave her. Her smile is now whiter, brighter, and more attractive. I did it with 24 super minimal prep porcelain veneers.

This is the final result of my previous post. This photo was taken just right after cementing 10 lower porcelain veneers. The gums were still irritated and inflamed. They needed more time to heal.

I just wanted to show this photo of the detail finished work of the beautiful porcelain artistry. I’m restoring harmony between function and aesthetics!

Everyday patients often ask me, “how much tooth structure is ‘shaved’ off for making porcelain veneers?”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My answer to my patients are (in most cases), very little tooth structure is removed to fabricate porcelain veneers. I want to be conservative and I always try to preserve as much of the natural tooth structure as possible.

I don’t want to shave the natural tooth structure if I don’t have to. Since I received numerous requests regarding this subject from my Instagram followers, I decided to show this picture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As you can see in this photo here, I shaved or recontoured/reshaped less than 0.5 mm for 10 lower veneers. This is usually my preparation for porcelain veneers. It is very conservative and is a minimum preparation as illustrated in this photo.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
