Now, as the @tuftsdpt Class of 2026 prepares to graduate in just two weeks, I want them to hear it too.

It’s easy to get caught up in the stress of the final stretch, but remember the ✨ REASON✨ you chose this profession and the people you want to help.

I wasn’t sure whether I should share this post or not, but I’m still reflecting and so full of gratitude, so here it goes:
👀
I recently found out students nominated me for an “Excellence in Online Teaching” award and I’m so full of gratitude! 🙏🏾 (NOMINATION ONLY!)

Online education has a unique set of challenges, so this acknowledgment of my passion is incredibly encouraging.

I’m now sharing because I just read the quote by @candacedoby (2nd 📸) & it instantly resonated with me, and my approach to teaching, reminding me of this wonderful acknowledgement via nomination.

My goal is to build communities where learners (myself included) can take risks, be vulnerable, and really lean into their learning, together!

A huge thank you to the nominators, even if I’m not entirely sure who you are. The thoughtful gesture means the ENTIRE world to me. 🌎🙏🏾😭
