Testing day with @drnaes2cents and @kimeperformancept. Goal is to see where we are deficient, train and hopefully prevent injuries! #womensbasketball #family #bleedblue💙 by @drnaes2cents

Some chapters are hard to close because they meant so much.

Infinite was more than a business to me. It was a dream, a journey, and a place where so many incredible people became part of my story.

I’m incredibly grateful for every athlete, parent, patient, family member, and friend who helped make Infinite what it became.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the mission continues.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be continuing my journey as a Sports Physical Therapist at KIME Performance Physical Therapy. @kimeperformancept

The rest is in the letter. ❤️

Swipe through. Read it. And thank you for being part of the Infinite journey.

Late-stage meniscus rehab is where the real work begins. 💪🏽

The pain is gone. The swelling has settled. But now it’s time to build the strength, power, control, and confidence needed to get back to competing.

At this stage, we’re not just checking boxes—we’re preparing the knee for the demands of sport. That means:
🏃🏽‍♂️ Explosive movement
🦵🏽 Single-leg strength
↔️ Change of direction
⚡ Reactive drills
🧠 Building trust in the knee again

Getting cleared to play is one thing.
Being ready to perform is another.

Every rep has a purpose. Every progression gets us one step closer to returning stronger than before. 🔥

Not every victory is measured on the scoreboard. Some are earned through the early mornings, the tough rehab sessions, the setbacks, and the decision to keep showing up.

Today we celebrate Holland Sperber as she officially graduates from her knee rehab journey! 👏

From injury to strength, confidence, and returning to the game she loves, Holland put in the work every single step of the way. Now she’s taking that same work ethic to the next level after earning a soccer scholarship to Houston Christian University.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of your journey and can’t wait to watch you thrive both on and off the field. Houston Christian is getting an amazing athlete and an even better person.

Congratulations, Holland! Go chase every goal. ⚽️💙

ACL rehab will always be one of my favorite journeys to be a part of.

Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s quick.

But because few injuries demand the level of commitment, discipline, and growth that an ACL reconstruction does.

This athlete is only 2 months post-op and absolutely crushing every phase of the process. The strength gains, confidence, movement quality, and mindset improvements we’ve seen in such a short time have been incredible.

ACL rehab isn’t just about getting a knee stronger. It’s about helping athletes rebuild trust in themselves, develop resilience, and come back better than before.

The road is long, but watching athletes evolve physically and mentally along the way is what makes this work so rewarding.

Keep stacking wins. We’re just getting started. 💪🏽🏀

Hoopers love working on handles, shooting, and bounce… but the foundation of all of it is your CORE. 🏀

Your core is what helps you:
✅ Absorb contact
✅ Change direction efficiently
✅ Stay balanced on finishes
✅ Transfer force when sprinting & jumping
✅ Protect your lower back, hips, knees, and ankles

Weak core = energy leaks, poor movement control, and higher injury risk.

A lot of knee, hip, and low back issues I see in athletes aren’t just about the legs — they start with poor trunk control and instability.

Train your core like an athlete, not just for abs.
Anti-rotation. Stability. Control. Power transfer.

Strong core = stronger hooper. 💪🏽🏀

“‘Isn’t strength training too early for kids bad? 👀
Actually, when done correctly, strength training can be one of the BEST ways to improve athletic performance, coordination, confidence, and injury resilience. 💪🏽🏃🏽‍♂️

The best age to start?
➡️ When a child can follow directions, control their body, and move with good technique. For most kids, that’s usually around 7-8 years old.

Strength training for youth athletes shouldn’t look like bodybuilding. It should focus on:
✔️ Movement quality
✔️ Balance & coordination
✔️ Proper mechanics
✔️ Gradual progression
✔️ Having fun

Done right, it helps build stronger athletes — not stunt growth. 🚫📉

Train smart early, move better later. 🔥

Hey Sacramento Athletes 👋 Making it to the next level in sports takes more than just talent. The athletes who stand out are often the ones who train differently, stay disciplined, take care of their bodies, and understand what it really takes to perform at a higher level.

🎙 Join Janae Young of Infinite Performance Physical Therapy for this Spotlight Series episode featuring Bernard Seals — former JC to D1 basketball athlete, College Assistant Coach, and Owner of Seals Drills Academy.

In this conversation, Bernard covers:
✅ The difference between athletes that make it to the next level — and the ones who don't
✅ Common injuries athletes deal with and how to stay ahead of them
✅ What athletes may be missing that could elevate their game
✅ The right age to start strength & conditioning training
✅ Why discipline, consistency, and mindset matter just as much as skill
💡 Whether you're an athlete, parent, or coach, this episode gives real insight into what separates average athletes from elite performers — and how to build habits that support long-term success both on and off the court.

Performance Testing Workshop was a success! Everyone was excited to see their numbers but also received good feedback on how they can adjust their training to help improve some of their deficits. #performancetesting #vald #testdontguess #athletes by @drnaes2cents

Out in the community where active people are. 🙏🏾

Great connecting with everyone at the DEKA Mile event at Innovative Strength & Conditioning with Coach T. We love partnering with local gyms that prioritize training the body the right way.

At Infinite Performance Physical Therapy, we help active individuals move better, train smarter, and stay out of pain so they can keep doing what they love.
