Important Meeting Between Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale and Philanthropist & Social Leader Shri Manoj Sharma Regarding the Establishment of 'Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Digital Library' in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad, October 16, 2026

Yesterday, on October 15, 2026, Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale visited the residence of Philanthropist & Social Leader Shri Manoj Sharma, Chairman of Nandkriti Welfare Trust, located in Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad. On this occasion, during a 'Chai Pe Charcha' (Discussion over Tea), serious and positive discussions took place between Shri Manoj Sharma, Chairman of Nandkriti Welfare Trust, and Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale regarding the establishment and prompt launch of a special 'Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Digital Library' for the educational development of youth and students in Ghaziabad.

Graceful Presence of Key Administrative Officials
Several key administrative officials of the district were also present at this important meeting. The meeting included the following officials:

• City Magistrate
• Chief Engineer, Municipal Corporation
• Administrative Officer
Special Emphasis on Education and Social Upliftment
During the meeting, Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale emphasized the importance of providing better resources to underprivileged and Scheduled Caste youth and students for higher education, digital education, and competitive examination preparation.

The emphasis being placed on education, digital empowerment, and skill development under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is significant in creating new opportunities for youth. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 also stresses creative thinking, skill development, inclusive education, and building a knowledge-based society among students. The availability of digital educational resources can help advance these objectives.

Taking this vision forward, the proposal to establish the 'Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Digital Library' in Ghaziabad can be an important initiative toward providing students with better facilities, including e-books, digital study materials, online educational resources, and competitive exam preparation.
