Graduation present time!!!

This one is just for you Class of 2024. All Clin Psych programmes are SUPER CRAY and you not only survived, you grew and thrived. Thanks for collaborating with me on this.

When I first heard, 'I can do it with a broken heart' by @taylorswift I immediately thought it captured all my feelings when I did my doctorate. I was inspired to create a Clin Psych Student version, and here it is : )

Thanks to this beautiful bunch who helped bring this song to life through their amazing acting skills:

Aeden, Hui Min, Gerry, Jo, Martina, Michelle, Oliver, Rebecca, Yen Yee, Xing Yong, and Zhi Yin.

Thank you to @gavinparkermusic for producing the audio, and being the most patient person ever the entire process.

Thank you to @rhyshrai for voicing the numbers, and for thinking I sing flawlessly (note: Gavin's post production tuning did the heavy lifting).

Thank you to @vanillapod for hosting the recording session ❤️

In case it wasn't absolutely clear, this video is meant to be funny and cheeky. Please don't take it too seriously 🎉

Song Credits: Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff.

I would scroll, and wonder why is everyone doing better than me? What is wrong with me?

Who else does this? Tell me what you do to avoid this!

@drnatashariard points out the emotion behind this feeling.

Overthinkers, we have a superpower!

I sometimes lie in bed at 3am, replaying a conversation from 3 days ago for the 1000th time. AND FEELING THAT EMBARRASSMENT FOR THE 1000TH TIME. Urgh.

Please, @drnatashariard, tell us how to harness it for the good. 💪🏻

Day one of looking through all the applications for the SUSS Master of Psychology (Clinical) Programme. Thank you to all who applied. It’s a lot of conscientious effort! I’ve been there (almost 20 years ago 😆) and it was nerve wrecking. The CV, the certs, the transcripts, the referee letters, the personal statement…. And feeling so anxious that I might have missed out on something that would prevent me from securing something I wanted so badly.

We will be looking through each application carefully. My favourite part is reading the personal statements.

I’m so ready to fill up the blank spaces with your name. Good luck! 🤩

How to rewire our brains when managing Sunday dread?
Thank you @drnatashariard for the tip! 🤯 by @drnatashariard

Queasy stomach on a Sunday afternoon? Here’s why.
As a child, I absolutely loved Fridays, cos weekend!!! By the time Sunday afternoons rolled around, I would feel a queasiness at the pit of my stomach. I never knew what it was, until now.
