David Roddy went from being a high school quarterback in Minnesota to becoming a first-round NBA Draft pick in 2022. After playing for several NBA teams, he now begins a new chapter in Europe with Hapoel Jerusalem. From the excitement of draft night to the reality of professional basketball, Roddy shares a behind-the-scenes look at life at the highest level.

In this episode, David talks about:
- Why the NBA never gave him the opportunity he expected as a first-round pick
- What “the NBA is a business” really means
- Playing alongside Ja Morant and facing stars like Luka Dončić
- Why he decided to leave the NBA for Europe
- Whether his ultimate goal is still to return to the NBA

A huge thank-you to David for sharing his story and to the entire Hapoel Jerusalem team for receiving us so warmly and making this episode possible! 🙏🏽
