Today Is the day! I present to you my new Gretsch signature penguin, in Amber Flame and Metallic Cherry Flame.

I remember many years ago in my bedroom trying to wrangle the first 3 chords my uncle showed me, thinking that maybe one day I could string together a few tunes, or that maybe one day I could jam with some mates or even play in a band.

Fast forward 30 or so years and never did I imagine it would culminate in this: a guitar built to my specs that I love and am immensely proud of. So, thank you @officialgretsch for bestowing to me one of the greatest honours of my musical journey.

Built me a small 8kg pedalboard. This keeps the airlines, the tour manager @lukeawebb and my back happy, so the old 33kg behemoth now lives in the studio. Thank you @gsus4co and @cayden_c_stapleton for help with the gear and putting it together. The captures from @davidhislop @tonefactor sound huge with the @darkglasselectronics Anagram, and the @cornerstonegear Nucleo reverb is just so good!

I love our team, our community, and I cannot begin to tell you what recording and releasing these songs mean. I’m just so proud of everyone involved in helping bring these to life - this is our offering, our sacrifice of praise. “Great I Am” - may these songs continually bring hope and always be an encouragement never to lose our voice to sing.

On a side note, it’s been a huge privilege to have a part in producing, writing and playing alongside some of the most outstanding humans. We had SUCH a fun time! by @droff
