NITRO MECHANIC LOG #2002: MAX and my car were dragged into the PITS completely wrecked (our second DNF this season in fact!), and his "excuse" was that a monkey sabotaged the engine and that caused him to crash in the Jungle Zone. We thought he was being completely crazy, but upon further inspection I did discover that he was telling the truth - the wires inside the engine were completely bitten off... HERE'S THE CAR LINEUP FOR OUR NOKONG RACEWAY TRACK SYSTEM SET - THIS IS THE FIRST PART IN OUR SET REVEAL, PART 2 COMING SOON! Original Designers: @Umikaloo [NITRO HIGHWEIGH, EXO AVENGER], @redjetbuilder [R.E.D. Drifter], and the LEGO Group [4596 Storming Cobra]. "PENNY" Car Designer: @redjetbuilder Graphics: maxine Script by: maxine & @bac_on_insta Ransak voiced by Electricstar Shicane voiced by gamergirlkat94 Music: "Step it up!" by Kenji Yamamoto, "LEGO Racers 3 Front End" by Stafford Brawler (?) #lego #legoracers #dromeracers #legomocs #blender3d #legocustom by @dromeracers
ROCKET RACER STRIKES BACK! Now in a brand new supercar retrofitted with advanced technology forged by the car-crazed Ramas, he reclaimed his old title of GALACTIC CHAMPION across time and space. He has issued an new tournament for everyone in the galaxy to come challenge him in the Big Dome on Planet XALAX. Rumour has it that a young racer and her mentor from SANDY BAY have defeated the Ramas in the Big Dome recently, but do they have what it takes to beat ROCKET RACER? MADOX MINUTE! A look behind the scenes at the audition studio for VOICE ACTORS! Looks like our park-performer pals didn't make the final cut; do YOU have what it takes to bring the Drome to LIFE?! He's loose. He's fast. He'll make your bricks a thing of the past. Happy 25th anniversary to one of the games of all time. #legoisland2 #lego #afol #nostalgia by @dromeracers
Pepper, you must mind the naughty bots; and mind your HEAD! And the - ohh, mind the SKELETON, Pepper! YIKES AND CRIPES! (These renders are based on the GBC port of LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge. It's an underrated little corner of LEGO lore we love!) Renders by Drome Racers Refueled and @bac_on_insta (he did the Pirate Caverns render!) - go team, go! #lego #legoisland #legomocs #legomoc #legorender #legogames #blender3d #blenderrender by @dromeracers
"Garage; last log of the night. Wasn't an easy race for anyone. My cornering isn't what it used to be, but I didn't let the flying gas pump take home the win... it was a photo finish, and not even Madox's holograms were enough to tell who won! On the other hand, it was pretty easy to tell who lost: we had two DNFs! Goggles here was too busy watching my moves to notice Ransak rushing up to rear-end her. He must not be used to someone driving slower than him. He can go drown his sorrows in caviar for dinner; I'm frying up some Sandy Bay snapper in the garage tonight for my new friends from Octan. Rocket out." Here's the grand finale to our collab with @bfg_audiophile! Shout-out to him and @bac_on_insta for the effects and writing as always - Go team!!! #lego #legoracers #dromeracers #legomocs #legorender #blender3d #blenderrender #legocustom by @dromeracers
"Shicane, patch through a garage log. Wha - YES, my eyes ARE on the road. Always have been... I'm keeping steady pace with the company flyboy. Ransak isn't. Girl in the shades is hanging back and watching my moves to crib from later. No big surprises. The Dromies down in the betting pool will rake in a nice, safe little return and - nnnngh - rough curve. Can't see Ransak anymore, must have stubbed his toe on the brake pedal. Anyway, I - uggh - how'd a gnat get inside a space helmet?! End log!" Here's the second part of the collab with @bfg_audiophile - as always, go check out their stuff! "Garage: record log... 'Enter username?' Who do you THINK it is, pally?... That's right, and don't you forget it. An Octan hauler came in with some lightweight cargo; just some company stooge named Jethro putting in a challenge. Max took it more personally than I did. I'm old enough to remember when these space jobbers flew rockets... I'm not old enough to remember when I was afraid of an Octan cubicle jockey. Garage: broadcast log to Drome Authority news resource, by-line, ROCKET RACER." Here's the first part in our multi part collab with @bfg_audiophile! He reached out to us about having his OCTAN Hauler crew compete in the #drome. So we immediately went to crafting the storyline, courtesy of @bac_on_insta (CYBERWORLD Island built by @bac_on_insta). @365days_of_lego designed the Nitro Pits, while Maxine made the renders. As always, it's a collaborative effort! Part 2 is on the way, the epic race between Rocket Racer and Jethro Hull - we won't spoil the surprise! Go show @bfg_audiophile some love on his page, tons of great mocs on display. Stay tuned - we're still working hard on the FORMULA NEGATIVE series, more updates coming later this month! #dromeracers #legoracers #legoracers3 #legorender #lego #legomocs #blender #blender3d #legocustom by @dromeracers
#madoxminute! Folks - I've been PROMOTED! Thanks to you people's philanthropic polling, Dromulus has made me the spokesman of the ENTIRE #drome AUTHORITY! I've been handed the keys not only to racing news and team updates, but also LupiX Labs! Today, I'm to caption this PSA from science-smartie supreme, Dremus!... But I don't know anything about science, so I'll ask YOU folks; leave a reply showing your brightest - or dumbest - moments! #lego #legoracers #dromeracers #legorender #legomocs #legocustomminifigures #legocustom #blender3d #blender by @dromeracers
This is NOT Madox's minute. It has come to the attention of Dromulus; yours truly, people of the #drome; that our spokesman Madox has been posting inflammatory comments towards various racers on this very platform. A line was crossed when he "accidentally" leaked an email from my dear brother Dremus, annotated with crude... Somethings. His handwriting is inscrutable. To the point: I leave it in your capable hands to decide what fate awaits the town crier. Leave a comment if you have ideas for more creative... Rewards. I appreciate innovation, Madox appreciates attention. #madoxminute! My long-awaited VACATION! It's been a whole month since I had a week off, folks! Have a sweet, sweet selfie of YOURS TRULY collecting sun rays and secret admirers at the BEACH ZONE! Or whatever we're calling it now. And for once, there's NOTHING AT ALL for Dromulus to complain about me foulin' up! Wotta good life!
