Nuestro Cobre - a remix by Drona Ra

"Nuestro Cobre" by Quilapayún was written and recorded in 1972. Written by Eduardo Yáñez in 1972 during the Popular Unity era in Chile.

"Quilapayún originated in 1965 when Julio Numhauser and the brothers Julio and Eduardo Carrasco formed a folk music trio, which they simply called "the three bearded men" (viz. Quila-Payún) in the Mapuche language (viz. Mapudungun – the language of the people native to the region that is now the south of Chile, the Araucanians)."

lyrics:

Nuestro Cobre

Nuestro cobre

Nuestro cobre

Hasta Siempre - a remix by Drona Ra w/ vocals by Vasilis Papakonstantinou

Lyrics:

Compass through time
And may the legend belong to you
They are the circles of your eyes
That embraced the world

Here will remain forever
Your warm passage
Fire that your gaze lights
Commandar Che Guevara

You light the stars
You make the map of memory+
And you pass through the ashes
Hope in other hands

Here will remain forever
Your warm passage
Fire that your gaze lights
Commandar Che Guevara

You gallop around like a legend
Like a wish and like a curse
In the narrow strees of Santa Clara
You test your dream

Here will remain forever
Your warm passage
Fire that your gaze lights your
Commandante Che Guevara

This traditional spiritual was originally sung by enslaved African Americans. It carries a message of hope and emancipation.
Soon I will be done With the trouble of the world Trouble of the world Trouble of the worldSoon I will be done With the trouble of the world Going home to live with God
No more Weeping unwilling No more Weeping unwilling No more Weeping unwilling Going home to live with God
Soon I will be done With the trouble of the world Trouble of the world Trouble of the world
Soon I will be done With the trouble of the world Going home to live with God
I want to see my mother I want to see my mother I want to see my mother Going home to live with God
Soon I will be done, oh Trouble of the world Trouble of the world Trouble of the world

============= --- Lyrics by Hope Sandoval I wanna hold the hand inside you I wanna take the breath that's true I look to you and I see nothing I look to you to see the truth You live your life, you go in shadows You'll come apart and you'll go blind Some kind of night into your darkness Colors your eyes with what's not there
Fade into you Strange you never knew ______________________ by @drona.ra

One of Nelson Mandela's most iconic statements reminds us that massive, seemingly insurmountable challenges are often just a matter of perspective. Every great achievement looks impossible in the beginning, but consistent perseverance has the power to turn even the most daunting visions into reality. by @drona.ra
