Drouth - "An Apiarist" Live at Look Out Tripping Hazard during Sh'bang arts festival, one of the greatest stages in the Pacific Northwest and one of the absolute funnest events we have ever been to. Going to tag them below so click into those things and check them out.

We play blackened death metal, we have been doing this together for a long time, but the music is only one aspect of this. Drouth is a vessel for us to spend time with old friends and make new friends, to share art and music, to create community and connections.

I encourage you to go out, sacrifice some sleep and energy and say hello to a stranger who is also attending an event like this, but really it can be any gathering that you are interested in. It's tough to do, we all get in our own heads, but just go say 'hello' to someone, if they are rude to you that's their problem, don't take it personal and go talk to someone else.

As summer finally begins to die we will be working on our new full length album which will begin tracking in March of 2027.

Remember, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together. Keep your stick on the ice.

On the afternoon of May 16, 2026, members of the band Drouth encountered an unidentified bipedal organism, consistent with regional descriptions of “Bigfoot,” while passing through Humboldt Redwoods State Park during a break in tour travel. The encounter was captured on video, showing a large, hair-covered figure, approximately 7–8 feet tall, moving near an old-growth grove off a maintained trail in full daylight. One witness can be heard exclaiming, “What the fuck is that?” No physical evidence was recovered. The band has declined further comment.

With a Solar Eclipse and insane wildfires engulfing everything I'm reminded of 2017 when we had a Solar Eclipse and wildfires engulfing everything. The apocalypse is really taking its time, letting us savor the failures of mankind. Anyway here's the cover of our 2017 record "Knives, Labyrinths, Mirrors" this is actually the second album cover for this record by @bargainbinblasphemy because he loves hard work and pain. We have a bunch of these available on vinyl, it was re-released by @translationlossrecords in 2021, and it's actually one of my favorite records we've done, I don't even know what I was thinking when writing the drum parts (admin reveal it's Pat).

You should order one of these, it's furious.

A fun one from Heather and Dave's 10th wedding anniversary show/hot dog camp out extravaganza. Thanks to @bandseyescene for documenting the event. Also please go check out their gofundme and donate as they sustained some injuries while filming a different event recently.

Drouth has been taking some time off from performing this summer to focus on writing a new full length album however we will be up at @shbangfestival and @lookouttrippinghazard on Sept 4th to play one of our favorite stages in the world. by @drouthxdeath
