Well Dad, I don’t think either of us expected you’d be gone so soon. But to say you left behind a legacy is simply an understatement. One thing I know for sure is you won’t need Surfline to find the swells anymore, You won’t need that little weather radio you used to keep in the center console either. You don’t need your badge for work, you’re free, Man ❤️ But I do have all the things you saved for my son, your grandson. My old jacket I out grew, my old golf clubs, I never understood why you kept them and you always told me it was for my son. How you knew with such confidence I’ll never know. But I do know I love you, and I miss you. Do my old man a solid and the next time you pass a boardwalk just stop for a second and appreciate the ocean. He’ll share a story with you if you do :) by @drowsytaco
