3 yr old Dhanvika came for root canal of lower tooth. Her treatment was done under laughing gas. Local anesthesia was given using CCLAD or ✨ Magic pen which makes the procedure painless and comfortable. In 20 mins root canal was done and stainless steel crown given. No tears no fuss . Only a happy child and a happier doctor ❤️ taken in Mitera Hospital by @drreny_

Have you noticed your child’s new permanent teeth growing behind the baby teeth, making it look like they have two rows of teeth? Don’t panic! This is commonly called “shark teeth.” 🦷

It usually happens when the permanent lower front teeth erupt before the baby teeth fall out.

✨ What should parents do?

* If the baby teeth are loose, they may fall out naturally.
* Encourage gentle wiggling if the teeth are loose.
* If the baby teeth aren’t loose or the permanent teeth are growing significantly behind them, visit a pediatric dentist for an evaluation.

💙 The good news? The tongue often helps guide the new teeth into a better position over time.

Remember: Don’t wait too long if the baby teeth remain firmly in place. An early dental check-up can help ensure your child’s smile develops beautifully! by @drreny_

😳 BLACK STAINS ON YOUR CHILD’S TEETH?!

Before you panic, let’s talk about chromogenic stains! 🦷🖤

These dark dots or lines, often seen near the gumline, may be extrinsic black stains rather than cavities.

✨ What parents should know:
🦷 They can occur in children with otherwise healthy-looking teeth.
🦷 Their exact cause isn’t completely understood.
🦷 They may return after professional cleaning.
🦷 Only a dental examination can distinguish stains from tooth decay.

🚫 No aggressive scrubbing.
🚫 No DIY whitening or harsh home remedies.
✅ Gentle brushing + regular dental check-ups!

Have you noticed these stains on your little one’s teeth? Tell us in the comments! 👇

Invisalign First is an early (Phase 1) orthodontic treatment designed specifically for children aged 6 to 10 who have a mix of baby and permanent teeth.
What It Does
• Guides jaw development and expands arches to make room for incoming permanent teeth.
• Treats early issues like crowding, spacing, narrow dental arches, narrow bites, and crossbites.
• Manages habits such as prolonged thumb-sucking.
Key Benefits
• Removable: Children can take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss normally, avoiding food restrictions.
• Comfortable: Made of smooth medical-grade plastic with no wires or metal brackets to irritate the cheeks or gums.
• Predictable wear: Designed to be worn 20 to 22 hours per day and changed weekly or bi-weekly as directed by the orthodontist. taken in Mitera Hospital by @drreny_

Thumb sucking is a normal self-soothing behavior that most children naturally stop between the ages of 2 and 4. After the age of four is the best time to intervene to stop dental and jaw alignment issues.

When It Becomes a Concern
• Age limit: The habit is usually not a worry until permanent front teeth begin to erupt around age 5 or 6.
• Dental risks: Prolonged or aggressive thumb sucking can cause an open bite, overbite, or changes to the roof of the mouth.
• Speech issues: Long-term habits may lead to a lisp or trouble pronouncing certain sounds taken in Mitera Hospital by @drreny_
