Many have asked why I chose to move from a dynamic and vibrant city like Dubai. Working there was a significant milestone in my professional journey. Being part of the largest multi-specialty dental clinic chain, alongside over 200 specialists from diverse nationalities, was an invaluable experience and a privilege.

However, the fast-paced nature of Dubai often comes with high expectations and constant pressure to perform. In healthcare especially, long hours, missed personal milestones, and working through public holidays are common realities.

Over time, I realized the importance of creating a balanced life—one that allows professional fulfillment while also prioritizing personal well-being and family. Spending quality time with my family ultimately became the driving force behind our decision to relocate.

Since settling here, the transition has been refreshing. The work environment is more measured and sustainable, allowing for renewed focus, perspective, and long-term growth. It has been a meaningful reset after nearly a decade of practicing in a highly demanding setting.

I began working overseas in 2015, and even at a young age I knew I was meant to build my life and career in another country. Starting over in your late 30s with kids is never easy, but now that I’m finally living what I once prayed for, I’m deeply grateful. I hope this year brings even more answered prayers and the fulfillment of long-awaited plans.
