What is your kid learning at DRS Krav Maga? We love this question! •Self-Defense is thrown around easily, they learn how to NOT fight, how to minimize danger, how deescalate, and when all that fails. We teach them the skills to get home safe. Our curriculum is very extensive in many different martial arts, combining the best techniques into a self-defense system. We give the kids a well rounded set of skills to defend themselves, but most importantly we teach them how to manage their emotions, their acquired skills to not fight but instead to lead with integrity, discipline and making this world a better a safer place. This is only one of the few important pillars we teach in our kids program. We are so proud of our students and thankful for the parents believing in their kids and this program. Together as a team we continue to raise the standards of humans beings 🔥🙏🏽💪🏽 -Stay Strong, DRS Strong Coach RRA . . . #drsathletics #drskravmaga #huntingtonbeach #kravmaga selfdefense by @drskravmaga

Never forgotten, always grateful for courageous and brave souls 💙❤️🇺🇸 — From Coach RRA diaries: In 2001, I was 15 years old. This impacted more than I have shared and could comprehend at the time. I was new to this country and felt the need to serve and help. I was enrolled at 17 but didn’t get permission. It has been 27 years I have lived in this country. 25 since 9/11. I always wanted to be in the military with the same vision and heart of many first responders that don’t get to come home any longer. My life had a different direction and I didn’t end up serving, I will always wish I would have. My heart calls for it. My purpose became to coach, to teach and serve my community and be near my family. I am forever thankful to my family and their sacrificies for allowing me and my siblings the opportunities we couldn’t even dream off or actually dreamt one day. I am forever thankful to this country and always humbled and grateful by the first responders and brave souls on this day and everyday. Thank you🙏🏽❤️💙🇺🇸 Stay Strong, DRS Strong -Coach RRA . . . #drsathletics #drskravmaga #911 #crossfit #kravmaga by @drskravmaga
