Repeatedly heating cooking oil can cause harmful chemical changes, while improperly stored leftovers can increase the risk of food poisoning.
🍳 Is Reheated Oil & Leftover Food Dangerous?

Repeatedly heating cooking oil can cause harmful chemical changes, while improperly stored leftovers can increase the risk of food poisoning.

⚠️ Reheating oil just once does NOT automatically cause cancer. However, repeated reuse of cooking oil should be minimized.

✅ Refrigerate leftovers promptly.
✅ Reheat food thoroughly to 74°C (165°F).
❌ Avoid leaving cooked food at room temperature for hours.
❌ Avoid repeatedly heating and cooling leftovers.

Remember: Food waste should be minimized, but food safety should never be compromised! ❤️

White spots on your nails = calcium deficiency?
 Not necessarily!

One of the most common causes is minor trauma to the nail matrix, often resulting in a harmless change called leukonychia. The white spot usually grows out with the nail and may appear weeks after the actual injury.

But if changes involve many nails, are persistent/extensive, or occur with other symptoms, they deserve evaluation.

Don’t take supplements blindly. Look for the cause.

Save this reel & share it with someone who always blames white nail spots on calcium deficiency!

Want to Quit Smoking but Finding It Difficult?

Quitting smoking is not simply a matter of willpower. Nicotine dependence is an addiction—and needing multiple attempts does NOT mean you are weak.

An evidence-based quitting strategy can include:

✅ Set a quit date
✅ Identify your smoking triggers
✅ Learn to manage cravings with delay, deep breathing, water and activity
✅ Consider Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) such as patches, gum or lozenges
✅ Prescription medicines may be appropriate for some people
✅ Combine medication with behavioural counselling for additional support
✅ If you relapse, identify the trigger and try again

Quitting is a process, not a single event.

If you’ve tried several times and still find it difficult to quit, consider speaking with a doctor or tobacco-cessation specialist.

Your next quit attempt could be the one that changes your life.

Comment “QUIT” if you want a follow-up video on nicotine patch vs nicotine gum vs varenicline—and when each option may be used.
