This year has been amazing! I had a concept for a book back in 2018 and I began writing the outline. Over the years God continued to pour thoughts and ideas into me that would later become chapters of this book. I am grateful that now in 2025 I was able to publish a book that I started so long ago. I want to encourage anyone who has a dream, a gut-pull, or a download from God that you’re supposed to do something… Don’t stop. It may take a while to complete what you started, but starting and working toward the goal little by little is okay. My prayer for my book is that it will be picked up as a supplemental textbook for universities. Our world is hurting, people are hurting, and I wanted to write a book that challenged our belief systems, our thoughts about humanity; and the way we treat others. If you have a chance to read the book, I hope that it inspires you to always consider others in the decision you make daily. I also pray that this inspires you to complete what you started. I can’t wait to see what you create! 🥰

We don’t always struggle because we don’t know what’s right.
Sometimes we struggle because what’s right comes at a cost.

Morality is not always a clear line between good and bad. It often lives in tension, in discomfort, and in the quiet decisions no one else sees.

The question is not just what is right.
It is what are you willing to carry once you choose it.

As I work on the second edition of Morality: Right, Wrong, and Everything in Between, I keep thinking about how much life resembles the writing process.

We revise.
We edit.
We rethink.
We grow.

The first version is rarely the final version.

Not of a book.
Not of a career.
Not of a relationship.
Not of ourselves.

Revision is not just for books. It is for people, too.

Life gives us permission to begin again with greater wisdom than we had before.

You are not alone if you have ever questioned yourself; the spaces between who we are, what we value, and the choices we make every day.

Writing my book Morality: Right, Wrong, and Everything In Between has reminded me that growth isn’t loud. It’s slow, honest, and deeply personal. It’s the courage to sit with hard questions, to see ourselves clearly, and to choose humanity even when it’s not simple.

If you’re on a journey of reflection, healing, or redefining what “right” looks like in your own life, just know you’re not alone. We’re all navigating the in-between together. Listening to the still, small voice of God has been the most important part of my journey. I hope that this book inspires that voice to be heard clearly by you. Somewhere along the way, I realized something I wish I knew earlier: God really does make room for it all.
Your family.
Your calling.
Your gifts, dreams, and ideas that wake you up at night.
All of it.

If you’re a woman balancing work, purpose, motherhood, marriage, creativity, or all of the above… you’re not “doing too much.” You’re simply living out everything God has purposed for you.

And here’s the best part… you can have fun doing it! It doesn’t have to feel heavy or overwhelming. Joy is part of the journey.

The Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t strong because she had it all together, she was strong because she trusted God with every part of her life.

So dream big. Build boldly. Love deeply. Laugh often. Celebrate your wins (big and small).

God has equipped you for a life that fits YOU beautifully; one that feels natural, purposeful, and soooo meant to be🥰❤️💃🏾

What an amazing time! The Detroit Legends Tour is officially wrapped and wow… what an experience. The crowds showed up with so much energy, and every artist gave everything they had on that stage. It was unforgettable from start to finish. I had a blast in every city, and it was such a treat getting to see so many friends and family along the way!💕💕💕 #detroitlegendstour by @drtalaun

I can’t even begin to express how proud and excited I am about Hood Book, written and directed by Fred Hammond! @realfredh Years ago, Fred shared with me his dream of creating another stage play. He had written several before, but this one was different, deeper, more personal, divinely inspired.

Over time, I watched God pour this vision into him. I’ve seen Fred overcome with emotion, taking notes through tears and laughter, moved by something bigger than himself. He wrote the script, walked through seasons of waiting, saw doors open and close, and still kept moving forward. When promoters stepped away, Fred and his partners chose faith and funded it themselves.

After debuting two pilot performances, Fred brought this dream to life, filming Hood Book in his warehouse. I had the honor of serving as one of the producers, witnessing every step of the journey, from the casting and rehearsals to the moment his vision finally came alive.

God has truly had His hand on this project from the very beginning. Every challenge became a testimony. Every delay had purpose. And today, we’re beyond grateful to finally share it with the world, now available on Fred’s Patreon.
