Meet Lesley Pereira, one of our new amazing therapists! We’re so excited to welcome Lesley to the Jackson Therapy Collective. Lesley works with adolescents, individuals, and couples navigating anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, women’s wellness, and motherhood-related concerns. She brings warmth, empathy, humor, and a grounded, collaborative presence to her work — creating a space where clients can feel supported, understood, and gently encouraged toward meaningful change. A little background... Lesley received her Master’s in Public Health from UC Berkeley in 2004, and has had several decades under her belt in the Health and Wellness coaching world, including extensive training in Ayurveda and Yoga Teacher training. She also developed a successful program called Reclaim, helping busy and overwhelmed mothers reconnect with themselves. She is currently pursuing her second Master’s Degree in Counseling from Adler Graduate School, as well as her LPCC license. Lesley offers therapy through Jackson Therapy Collective in Minneapolis, in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood, with telehealth available across Minnesota. Who feels seen? 💛 Mood swings are so common because our hormones are fluctuating wildly during this major biological transition and affecting our brain chemistry The reason? Perimenopause. It's completely valid and you are not alone, even if no one around you is talking about it. So when you go from calm to crying to RAGE to laughing in 20 minutes? That's not random. That's your brain trying to function while your hormones are doing gymnastics. You're not overreacting. You're not "too emotional." You're experiencing a real, biological process. And you deserve support—not dismissal. Our Second Season Sessions can help you: ✨ Understand what's happening ✨ Develop coping strategies ✨ Process the emotional overwhelm ✨ Better communicate with loved ones ✨ Stop blaming yourself You're not broken. You're in transition. There's a difference. 💚 ✨ 8 live ZOOM sessions starting mid‑January! Join us for 8 Wednesdays from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM CT as we dive into real conversations, real support, and real transformation. 💛 👉 Reserve your free Second Season Session Info session to see if this group is exactly what you need in your life right now: https://jtcfreesecondseasonsession.carrd.co/#form #PerimenopauseMoodSwings #TheresAReason #HormonesAreReal #NotCrazy #ValidationMatters #TherapyHelps #JacksonTherapyCollective #MentalHealthSupport #PerimenopauseSupport #YoureNotBroken #BrainChemistry by @drtaliajackson
