First officiated wedding in the books. I only ask, and want God to use me how he sees fit. It was an extreme honor and pleasure to officiate my niece, Tiffany and Justin's wedding day. M I N I S T E R.... really God. Thankyou for trusting and believing in me. Titles are earned, but Callings are on you and given by the most high. Trust the process and don't succumb to limitations. I wrote this book to help those beauty and barber professionals that are trying to find their way. However, it's also a good read for not just business, but life as well. It's not easy doing what we do, and it doesn't matter what type beauty professional you are. Whether or not you're a rookie or a veteran, we all need a dose of truth, direction, motivation and honesty from time to time.

If I have helped one person get past some obstacles, achieve some unmet goals, overcome fear, not give up when they wanted to quit, change careers, find new life and love this industry again and/or become an awesome business owner, I've done my job.
God is amazing. I have done alot of the hard work for you by putting it in a book. I've had the sleepless nights and days spent worrying about those things I can't control or change, I've shedded tears of joy and sadness on my journey so, I present to you my book. MENTORED BY FAILURE.
We all will overcome obstacles and tough times. If we can just be patient, trust the process, surround ourselves with good and positive people and most of all have faith.🙏🏽 Remember, when you change, the things and situations around you change.

I'm always striving to be and become better regardless of how hard or uneasy it can be.
3 things I believe: Optimism is a muscle. Failure is necessary. Success is scary.....
This I know for sure. You need to be responsible, accountable, and ready because nothing just happens. You can't appreciate the end result if you're not enjoying the process. Do it scared, do it afraid and don't quit. My support system is key, thanks to @iamcourtneycaldwell for rocking with me on this journey.

THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS DAY!

When I think about my life, the journey that God has me on... all I can say is wow! Regardless of what I'm going through, I can say I fully trust my Father. God has given me & you, purpose to live. Most people think living in your purpose is giving up your joys, things and freedom to live free... no no no, you actually get to live the Good Life, bc you are living in alignment with God.

Oh...I forgot, the Gram is for the highlight reel huh... OK... no highlights here. My grandma used to say when I was a kid, "baby, you know where been, but you don't know where you going"... no truer words spoken about navigating through this life.

I don't know who's going read this, but I want to share this. You can't live this life without God... don't even try. Things may be well and good now, but if you keep living... tests, trials and tribulations, struggles, problems and issues will arise... who are you going to trust and lean on then, Yourself, I hope not... this will be a no brainer time to trust God.

Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first the His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

That's not my quote, that comes straight from Jesus' mouth. What can I or you say to those instructions...I would say "NOTHING".

If you talk to 99% of the top 1% successful entrepreneurs and many other successful people, they will not ever tell you THEY made it that far without God, it's impossible... it would be even crazier to say. I may get and many others get shunned for talking about God, but I don't care...I follow my Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus says in Matthew 10:32-33 Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in Heaven. But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in Heaven.

Remember: Everyday you get up God is the reason...no one, nothing else. This life is bigger than just mere me and you. It's not long as you think, might as well keep God on this ride with you.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

If you're not afraid to confess or talk about your relationship with God... put it in the chat.

There is no way I could make it through life without prayer. It's the lifeline to how I live and move in life... that's the only way I've made it through this life of mine. Successes failures, ups, downs, good, bad, happy, sad, wins, losses and everything in between. I pray about it regardless of what the results are.

I was invited to a 6 hour prayer summit last minute, that I attended. I changed everything on my schedule to attend and I'm so glad I did. It was soooooo powerful. 18 men lead the charge with some word, a testimony and a powerful prayer at the end.

I walked away feeling honored that I was invited bc I needed it. The anointing permeated throughout the room and whole building. I left with a full tank and ready for anything that is going to come my way.

Life is going to take you through it all... if you don't believe me, as my grandparents and parents used to say, "keep on living." They were so right. You will be tested in each area: Mentally, Physically, Spiritually and Financially. If you get time, read the book of Job in the Bible. It's such a great story to read and a true testament on how to stand and trust God as Job did.

How can anyone get through life on there on thoughts and precepts... you can't and think you will go far. I've been praying and trusting God for a long time, no stopping now!

I know you've heard it before. "Health is Wealth"
I can't stress it enough. As I've gotten past the half century mark in age. I take my health and wellness very serious. Study says that what you do in your 20's will show up in your 40's and 50's. It's true and I talk to so many people that wish they could turn back the hands of time.

We're constantly evolving in this life and the food we're eating is not as healthy and nutritious as it was just 40 years ago. You have to be intentional about how you treat your body and what you put in it. I have to be focused and intentional daily, since my focus is always working towards better and optimal health, I've made extreme changes to get the results I want and trust me, your body will feel it. My routine and prescription daily: Prayer, Meditation, Exercise, Sunlight, Fruits, Nice meal 2× day, Positive Thinking, Sleep 7+hrs (definitely get that power nap in).

As a Executive Business Coach, I attained my Nutritionist and Trainer license to fully help other business owners and startup founders on their journey to better health. The key to success is being well balanced, staying focused and being consistent.

Life is of full of surprises, whether personal or business. If you can keep these 3 things a mainstay, you will survive, (balance/focus/consistency). There is no straight line to success, you have to expect the ups, downs and failures along the way, because it's a part of the journey and process. The beauty of the journey is you learn along the way, so don't be hard on yourself with slip-ups and failures, you will be fine. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

There are no shortcuts... you will only get so far if you try. So, whether it's your health, wealth, business or personal life, first take some self accountability before starting. That means step back, take a serious look at your life and make the necessary changes and modifications. Feel free to DM me for a quick 15 minute consultation or let's get started with our first 1 hour kickoff.

I've been helping many entrepreneurs, and now I'm offering to help you. DM "I'm ready" to get started.

I'm so grateful to God. It's not hard smiling on those easy days. It's the days when it's tough and where smiling is necessary, but not as easy, bc God's blessings on me require it. Jesus already paid the ultimate price for me/us... his death and his resurrection. I'm thankful because I praise him through it all. Many times we all forget those blessings that we don't even think about: our sight, our hearing, the fact that we can taste, many of us being able to walk, we can touch and feel, the fact that when we sit and trust that chair is going to hold us, getting to and from regardless if it's a car, train or airplane safely, going to sleep at night expecting to wake up... these things we sometimes forget. I appreciate God, bc he's been too good to me to overlook any of them. Thankyou God!

Hello... it's been awhile, but God has been amazing. It's not about the good times, it's about all the times... the journey. Happy New Year.

I want you to:

Be that better version of yourself. Focus on greatness. Leave complaints at the door. Present with great energy. Give yourself grace all the time. Trust the process. Focus on the experience not the still shot photo. Pay attention at all times, small but great moments can be missed. Live and love, we only got one shot at this thing. #godisgood❤️ by @drtyecaldwell
