Chapter 30 ✨

29 was the most beautiful year in the best way - and I couldn’t be more thankful for the people I’m lucky to call friends and family

I feel like 29 was the year of tremendous growth .. literally in all areas of my life

Career/business - went “all in” on my virtual practice and grew incredibly fast

Relationship - am marrying the loml and best friend 💛 in like a couple weeks!!

Family - grew so much closer to my sisters, mom, and rest of my family 🙏 so grateful for them

Health/fitness - competed in my first national show ✨ I’m in the best shape of my life and my gut health has never been better

Spirituality - deepened my faith and relationship with God

I mean … I literally don’t know how my life could get any better 💛 my heart is so full

Thank you God for showing me how good life can feel 💕 and thank you everyone for the birthday wishes ✨

I just know this next decade is going to be incredible by @druebailey

I posted this caption on my story the other day but feel like it’s worthy of being on the main feed -

I had a conversation with a Zen Buddhist monk in Kyoto and what I learned was truly enlightening:

I asked him what hes gained from meditating for 60 years - how his life has improved.

He said “I havnt gained anything- there is no goal”

I proceeded to ask him, “then what drives you? Why do you choose to meditate every day?”

The Buddhist monk said’ “I choose to meditate because it’s who I am - it’s my state of being.

This unlocked something in my brain - in western culture - we are driven by goals, outcomes, and ambitions.

But what would happen if we instead focused on presence & being?

I could have talked to him for hours - the way that he could disconnect from goals and outcomes really didn’t make sense at first -

Because our western world is SO driven by external goals - we often get distracted of one of the true meaning of existence:

Living a peaceful & joyful life 💗

I was reminded of that this trip - and already being intentional about disconnecting from outcomes - I feel the peace it brings 😌

Okayyy one last personal post before I start sharing more about gut health but wanted to share some special moments from Maui 🫶🏽 (until our engagement photos are done being edited!!)

I am so grateful to have celebrated our engagement with some of the most special people in my life

Last week was a beautiful reminder to make and share memories with your family. Moments like this together are more rare as you get older!

THANK YOU everyone who wished us congratulations 🥰 we truly feel so loved

Here’s to the start of forever 🤞🏽

It was here in Maui in 2023 where we first fell in love - and the place where we will tell our future children the story of our proposal 🫶🏽

… Im thankful you got me up that mountain after leg day and 40 mins of cardio 😆

I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you❣️

Weekend in St Pete’s 🌴

This Saturday while I was eating at a gluten free restaurant recommended to me by a friend, I had a moment of extreme presence

The feeling like all blessings were just surrounding me

A little background on what happened prior -

I taught a certification class on longevity & extending health span, was consistent with my training plain despite travel, had a GREAT gut test review call with my client, I was able to give hugs to women on a mission to change the world, support my boyfriend in his event, and connect with so many incredible thought leaders!!!

I guess you could say .. the being in my purpose and loving the journey is a feeling that is hard to describe

This is why I’m so passionate about healing - everyone has the DIVINE right to be in complete love and awe. And some of the first steps - is physical healing 🫶🏽
