Here’s the Artist Preamp through a @scienceamps Mother. My current signal chain for most of the @chora_tn stuff. I fell in love with the onboard active electronics of this RD which lead to the creation of this unique circuit.

Preamp, EQ, boost, distortion, fuzz – the Artist Preamp is all and none of these at once. Inspired by the (in)famous active electronics in late 70’s artist series guitars, the Artist Preamp is designed to provide not simply volume and gain, but control over everything from the dynamics to the harmonic structure of your instrument. With an active tone control, boost or cut treble and bass to complement (or punish) your amp, stand out in a mix, or unlock otherwise unattainable frequencies. Combined with a uniquely voiced and responsive gain control, the Artist Preamp gives the player access to new sonic territory without sacrificing the original character of the instrument. At lower gain settings, the Artist shines as a tone shaping device, while at more extreme settings, it delivers a saturated, fuzz-like texture felt as much in the gut as in the ear. Whether you need something subtle or destructive, the Artist Preamp is your answer.

Use it as a Boost , EQ , Fuzz Or Distortion . In this clip we are checking out the Artist Preamp from @drugeffectsaudio . The artist preamp is based off the active electronics . That was featured in the 70s moog designed Gibson Artist series guitars .

In this clip I ran the AP in front of my Mesa Boogie Mini rectifier using some cabinet IRS from York Audio. Along with using my @moonguitars Trouble Maker that is loaded with @seymourduncanpickups rail series Nazgûl . #fuzz #guitar #guitartone #metal #guitargear by @drugeffectsaudio

This is straight into an edge of breakup Bad Cat Black Cat 30. Bass is gently pushed by Artist Preamp into an SVT model. by @drugeffectsaudio
