🥁 Some songs never lose their impact.

Originally released by The Cranberries in 1994, Zombie was written as a response to the violence of the Northern Ireland conflict. More than 30 years later, its message and raw emotion continue to resonate with listeners around the world.

Nene Royal brings a fresh energy to this iconic song with her powerful vocals, expressive guitar playing, and unmistakable stage presence. Her unique interpretation gives the classic a new intensity while honoring the spirit of the original.

Here’s my drum cover of Nene Royal’s version of Zombie. I really enjoyed bringing this arrangement to life behind the kit, and I hope you can feel the energy as much as I did playing it.

What do you think of this version? Let me know in the comments! 🤘🔥

Originally released in 1994, Zombie was written by Dolores O’Riordan as a protest song inspired by the Warrington bombings. Its emotional lyrics and explosive chorus have made it one of the most iconic rock songs of the 1990s. Nene’s audition showcased both vocal power and emotion, turning a quiet introduction into one of the standout performances of the season. #agt #zombie #drums @neneroyalmusic by @drums.dominik

I will never touch your hand
Never dance with you again
Never throw away
What pleased me everyday.
Since you left
with me from grace
I will never forget
Your true face
