It has been one year since we dropped our first single! Now, we got this sick new shirt design coming soon using some shots from our recent music video for Urethral Anatomization, thanks to the mighty @dwellingminacity for whipping this up for us 🤘

In the meantime, we are actively writing things for our eventual full length that will blow your bowels to bits.

Thank you everyone for the support over the last year. Being a new band and starting out is always a tough time, but the reception and love we've received since our formation has been extremely amazing and we're grateful for all of you. We can't wait to share what's coming next.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our music video for Urethral Anatomization on our official YouTube channel and website deathbysantorum.com, where we also have all of our merch available to order and ship. by @drumtorum

Edmonton! The dust has settled and thanks are in order.

We couldn't have asked for or foreseen a better outcome than our show with Six Feet Under and Kataklysm. For a local band nobody knows, you all showed up early and made us feel at home from the very first song. Our gratitude for your warm and welcoming reception can't be put into words. Thank you to everyone who came out early and supported us, and for all of you who were there for the first time...we're just getting started.

Thank you to @starliteroom, @concertworks and to @kataklysmband, chrisbarnes6FU, and @wormholetechslam, it was an honor to share the stage with you.

Our music video should be out in the next couple of weeks. A trailer will be posted in the coming days to give you a taste.

Until next time, Edmonton! by @drumtorum

This past Sunday we finally got to record the first Santorum music video with Shadowscape Pictures and the help of @binny_mua and @rebekah.mua . If you thought the live video looked good, you oughta prepare for a visual catastrophe with this one. Shadowscape are seriously the best at what they do and have blown this thing out of the water. We can't wait for you to witness this devastating display of depravity.

Full tags and credits will be released with the video, where we're still examining options for release. There's next to no way this will live long on YouTube. by @drumtorum

Work has kept me from making this post since our show on the 21st...long overdue, but not forgotten. There's much to say, but I'll do my best to keep it brief.

Thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting this event. Trauma at The Temple was an overwhelming success and experience, to say the least. Being the first show I've organized myself, it truly meant the world to see everyone show up and support all the bands. Thank you to all the bands, Splayed, Repugnant Scum, Killing Spree, and A Modern Prometheus for dedicating their time, hard work, and trust to putting this event on alongside us. Without you, none of it would be possible.

Thank you to Concertworks, the Starlite Room, Project23, and Chetfuck for their hospitality, patience, and advice. It means a lot to have the reception and warmth I felt from the beginning of throwing this together, and I truly appreciate the words of wisdom and help along the way.

Thank you to Adam for his help with the poster artwork, I think we made the nastiest poster this city has seen. Next time it will be worse.

Lastly, thank you to our dad Waris for setting us up with some sick stage lights, fog, and capturing this photo.

Now, we shift our focus to August 5th when we have the pleasure of opening for the legendary Kataklysm and Six Feet Under alongside Wormhole. Be sure to snag your tickets at Ticketweb, Concertworks, or the Starlite Room website. We can't wait to tear down the main stage with you all. by @drumtorum

ARTIST SHOWCASE : SANTORUM

Our hosts of the evening present a display of septic old school death metal digested from the bowels of Edmonton, blending mosh inducing groove with frenetic uncertainty. "Through our music and lyricism, we look to recapture the essence of the original legends who paved the way for everybody to follow in their footsteps, whilst adding our own pernicious balance to the mix, bringing a vibrant blend of old and new into a catchy display of modern death metal debauchery."
For fans of Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Dying Fetus, Morbid Angel, and Suffocation.
