Ork Kommandos Burna Boy done! Had a weird painters block in the middle but powered through. I can’t run multiple WIP simultaneously so I knew if I didn’t keep going I would have never finished. Maybe this is a sign for a little Ork break…

Brushes: @gilded.goblin no.1/2
Basing: @siegescenics moss and tufts

Skragrott the Loonking complete! The sculptors absolutely COOKED with this guy. There’s so many cool details that I had to spam pictures to capture it all. As the kids call it these days he is “aura farming”. The slight tilt and downcast gaze made him a perfect candidate for a raised base. I hope you enjoy!

Brushes used: @gilded.goblin no.1/2/0 for all acrylic work, including the freehand Badmoons crest on his robe.

Basing: Cork, texture paste and @siegescenics tufts and mosstufts: Roasted Chestnut, Deerberry Spice, and Thornveil Thaw.

1/3 Deffkoptas done! First ever vehicle I’ve done, I think I prefer spending more time on character models but this was a fun experience and I’m very happy with the result. Especially on the head and the hazard striping!

All acrylics done with the @gilded.goblin no.2. Including all freehanding and his sick NMM googles.

Basing tufts and moss by @siegescenics. I’m a huge fan of the moss pads and I will not get off my soapbox about them. Walnut veil is so versatile for that pop of desaturated color.

You VS the guy she tells you not to worry about but they’re actually both just you. If the GD blues are getting you down it’s nice to give yourself some perspective. Look at how far you’ve come. I’m proud of you son.

I painted the lens of the scope so carefully and forgot to include it in the pictures. Am I even an influencer??? Do people like this hand turntable video more than the motorized one?? #warhammer #orks #miniaturepainting by @dryheatminis

It’s been 6 months since I painted/posted a Warhammer Ork…so hopefully this will remedy that! For everyone who has stuck around just for the art thanks for your patience! I have also forgotten how to work my camera during this time… oops.

@gilded.goblin no. 2/1/0 for the stripes.

Working on skin blending and highlights. I have a super bad habit of stopping with a two tone gradient so I’m working on doing that extra step of highlighting. I think it helps a lot with readability! Going on another work trip this week. So he will remain WIP for a bit by @dryheatminis

Surprise! I’m alive. I haven’t painted an Ork face since Oct ‘25 lol. It’s not the best but it’s paint on a model and that’s enough. Just been painting on my terms as work has been really busy and I really haven’t felt the desire to hobby. But I’m still around and will post when I have stuff to post about 😂 by @dryheatminis

“War eternal, ecstasy unending”

I really love the style of the Emperor’s Children or any followers of Slaneesh. Good thing I still have 99% of my EC army box 😂

Lion of Jabir from @trench_crusade. He’s just a bit different than the box art. I wanted to do something quickly and practice a few different skills. Used the @vallejocolors TMM paints and was pretty happy with how they worked with each other.

#wip A little skin color palette test on the @trench_crusade Lion of Jabir. This is to show proof of life as well as the fact that I do still paint 😂

Also testing out the @redgrassgames painting handle. I’m really liking the XL caps for these bigger models.

I always like taking progress pics even if I don’t post them because it shows a cool evolution of your paintjob as time goes on!

Back to back travel weeks got my hobbying schedule all screwed up. Hoping for some normalcy so I can put some more paint down.
