POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So this is a bit of a soppy emotional post so you’ve been warned! (Also sorry it’s a bit long).

Just returned from @fenmodelshow.ely after the most incredible weekend! I have spent three amazing days with the best people, my hobby family. I can never express just how grateful I am to you all! I have felt nothing but love at one of my favourite hobby events. So many people stopped me to chat and say how much they loved my pieces and honestly, the fact you took the time out of your weekend to do this, it was honestly just an incredible feeling!

I walked with a Bronze in standard painting and a bronze in story telling. Not to mention the coveted @taromodelmaker banana for my collection!

I am honestly over the moon, after what has been a really rough year personally, I can honestly say I am really proud of myself. (Big headed I know). I have listened carefully to feedback and tried to push myself to do and be better! It has just been an all round incredible year for me and my little corner of the hobby. There has been lots of tears today, but these were happy/ grateful tears. It has honestly been my privilege to meet everyone this weekend and just spend so much time in awe of the sheer talent that was on display.

To top it off, I wanted to say thank you, to all those who cheered, whooped and chanted as I got my medals. You can tell from my smile that I honestly loved and appreciated it so much. It gave me the confidence to stand along side the other incredible painters I had the privilege to be along side!

A huge congratulations to everyone! It was an incredible show! I am sending all my love to you. I honestly cannot wait to see what happens next!

Hey guys! So I’m super proud to announce that I will be judging at this year’s Convergence painting competition hosted by the wonderful @cryptic_cabin in Bristol later this year!

I am so excited for this and I can’t wait to see what everyone brings as offering! I will be judging the beginners category and I will be keeping my eye out for models that the painter has really had fun painting. I am a huge fan of the “all in” technique so I want to see your bright colours, your rich shadows, your fun bases, your playful models and that you’ve just had fun creating! Make everything you do purposeful and catch my attention. Miniature painting should be a joy first and foremost so I want to see that in your painting!

Please say hey to me if you see me around the event, there are a whole host of incredible judges/ painters for this so I am truly honoured to be alongside them!

I can’t wait to see you all there as it will be one heck of an event! Catch you all 21st November in Bristol!

Soppy post warning:

I am incredibly shocked, and grateful, that this weekend I walked away with a bronze for my snail Percy and a silver in the MPO standard category.
This year has honestly been a blur of amazing achievements I never even thought possible for me. And I know many will go “yeah yeah it’s obvious” but honestly to me it has never been obvious. I have really worked hard this year to improve my painting for myself. It’s been one heck of a year for me health wise and many of those who know me know I’ve not been well. I have been using this hobby to help me through the tough times and it seems the universe has decided I deserved a reward.

So far in 2026 I have been blessed to receive the following:
- silver at legends of paint for my wizard chicken
- gold for my Druid at chillcon
- commended for my Druid at salute
- bronze for wizard chicken at salute
- first place for my Odin in the Grey to Glory comp
- bronze standard at MPO for Percy (snail)
- silver (not sure if it was druid/ refugee, sailor or Odin) at MPO

This post is not meant to be a brag but a reminder to myself that my hard work is paying off. In many of these comps I have been one of the few females to receive awards so it amazes me that I have made it this far. Rest assured I will keep pushing myself to do & be better. And hey, who knows, maybe aim for masters someday?

I want to say a huge thank you to all of those who have messaged me, who stopped to look at my models (and even take pictures), who have supported me endlessly. Your love and support has honestly made me want to do better, not just for me, but to make you all proud. To make myself feel like I belong alongside you all.

The year isn’t over yet and I m going to keep pushing to see what more I can do! So please stay tuned! (Thank you for reading this far as I know I’m rambling but I am so very sincerely grateful.)

💜🍄

I’m not sure how I feel about “trashing” my artwork. Battle damage is definitely a new one on me. Not sure if I’m happy as I preferred it looking all pristine and shiny 😂✨

I am doing my best with this one but needless to say I am totally winging it! I’m learning a lot tho, which is fun, I still need to figure out how to make the surfaces look more interesting than just a big block of cheese with a blue stripe!

Well here is the WIP so far. First times throughout as I’ve never masked areas before. It’s the first real vehicle I’ve ever had a proper go with and I’m so pleased that @bottom3rd_modeller asked me to contribute to the charity army he is raffling off. Stay tuned for more updates!

Can I present “B for Bertie” my offering to the great Bertie Beat Off!

What started at @warlordgameshqstore1 with the @rally_point_games_and_minds Mind charity event has lead to a few people taking a Fancy to the brilliant little automaton (someone else has another name for them @hawt.sauce_ )

Anyway I can’t to see the other offerings on the Bertie Beat off!

Solarflare is now finished! Here is my final submission for the @g_assemble_official

I am so pleased with how this turned out and how vibrant it is compared to some of the other submissions. (Which all look fantastic btw!) definitely stayed true to my style with this one and had so much fun. I definitely see more gundams in my future!

Finally calling it quits on this!
I’ve absolutely done my best and there will be proper photographs to come but I am thrilled with how this came out. It’s definitely different compared to a lot I have seen but I stayed true to my style (I think). Hopefully you enjoy him as much as I do!
