They say your child is a reflection of YOU & MY son Don👑 is a shining star! 🌟🤩🥳 First year in Middle school and already made honor roll in his first quarter 👏🏽 I’m far from perfect and parenting doesn’t come with a handbook but, MF I DID THAT‼️ From becoming a single mother when he was 6months old, losing my brother a week later, being in school full time while dealing with my mother having life threatening cancer, to them lates nights doing my homework while my son was admitted in the NICU time&time again for his heart condition & still graduating with high honors- MY DON MADE IT POSSIBLE for me to over come it all! Without him I wouldn’t have made it this far so in reality I’M A REFLECTION OF HIM! 🥰👩‍👦 FOREVER TEAM US 4L. KEEP BEING THE KING 🤴🏿 YOU HAVE ALWAYS & FOREVER WILL BE DNJH‼️🤍✍🏽

Say whatever you want about me but you could NEVER take the title of being an GREAT MOTHER from me 😌🗣️🤪

I miss your contagious laugh, I miss your bear hugs until I couldn’t breathe, I miss you coming over just to use DonDon as a wing man. I miss your smile so much. It hurts going through all these new life changes without you by my side bc I know you would be so proud & my biggest hype man, I just hate that you’re not here living through it with me. Just a few years ago I was literally making myself sick, slowly killing myself internally with depression, anxiety, heartbreak, and grief without even knowing it. Nobody could tell me nothing bc I swore I had healed and was over all of the pain I had been through but all them hospital trips said otherwise. I was at the lowest point in my life.💔 God has a funny way of showing you he’s not done with you yet and I am so blessed that he did. It took a lot of tears, hard, dirty work to overcome what was holding me back. I had to recognize my toxic traits, my pain, my anger, my pride, my ego, I had to do the shadow work - wasn’t nobody coming to save me but ME but from all of it I grew to LOVE ME. I grew boundaries. I grew self respect. I learned to say NO when I didn’t feel like it was right for me. Today I am more in love with myself than I’ve been in a very long time. Today I am PROUD of the woman and mother I have grown to be. Nobody is perfect and I don’t plan to be but I do plan on always loving myself even while I make mistakes and continue to grow. I vow to always put myself and my feelings first so that I don’t ever go back to that dark place again. I love me! I love my spirit! I love my soul! I love my energy! I love my aura!
