🌊 What to Expect as a Volunteer with Disabled Surfers Association Tasmania 🌊

Thinking about volunteering? Here’s what your morning with us looks like 👇

💙 A Warm Welcome: You’ll arrive around 9:30am to check in, meet the team, and get a quick briefing. We’ll walk you through safety procedures, your role, and what the day will involve.

🏄 Your Role:
• Water Volunteers help participants experience the thrill of catching a wave — guiding surfboards, offering balance and encouragement, and celebrating every ride.
• Land Volunteers support from the beach — helping with check-ins, assisting participants, keeping things running smoothly, and cheering from the sidelines.

☀️ The Experience:
Expect a morning full of smiles, high-fives, teamwork, and laughter. Every event is powered by community spirit and a shared goal — making the ocean accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.

🕙 Event Time: 10am – 12pm

Everyone who came down made the day epic, so thank you all. Surfers, carers, water/land vollies and the food providers, legends!
