Temperature reached triple digits but that didn’t stop the @bellflowernoonlionsclub car show from being spectacular. Thousands of stunning cars and attendees braving the heat. Thank you the @bellflowernoonlionsclub for putting on a great show, @thelivingstongroup for sponsoring our booth and @mustangcountryinternational for parking their gorgeous fastback next to our booth. As always thanks to our staff and volunteers for helping us participate in community events and share what we do! by @dsfwerks

🎉 BEST BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS! 🎉

Long Beach Gives is about more than raising dollars. It’s about building connections across our city—and our local businesses can be incredible partners in strengthening our nonprofit community!

Congratulations to our Best Business Partnership winners:

🏆 SMALL ORGANIZATION: Operation Kringle

🏆 MEDIUM ORGANIZATION: DSF Werks

🏆 LARGE ORGANIZATION: WomenShelter of Long Beach

These organizations found creative ways to bring businesses into their Long Beach Gives campaigns, expanding their reach, introducing new people to their missions, and building relationships that can continue long after Giving Day.

When nonprofits and businesses work together, our entire community gets stronger. ❤️

Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to every local business that showed up for a Long Beach Gives nonprofit this year! by @dsfwerks

Long Beach’s beloved @dsfwerks began when its founder, Joel, recognized the need for youth aging out of foster care to grow as individuals in a welcoming community. Carvana joined their weekly open event — Motor Monday — to celebrate a space that fuels its local community and mentors future auto techs. taken in Long Beach, California by @dsfwerks

MIG Welding 101 Workshop

This Wednesday, we’re getting hands-on with the fundamentals of MIG welding at DSF Werks.

We’ll start with welding safety and PPE, then cover proper material preparation, how the MIG welding machine works, and the basic settings you need to understand before striking an arc.

Then it’s time to weld. Students will learn how to create and control a weld puddle, practice consistent movement, and begin laying down basic weld beads.

Finally, we’ll take those new skills and put them to work on a real project by welding a ramp hanger onto a trailer. Taking what we learned at the practice table and applying it to an actual fabrication job.

No prior welding experience necessary. The goal is simple: learn the fundamentals, practice the technique, and apply those skills to a real-world project.

📅 Wednesday, September 30
⏰ 10:00 AM
📍 DSF Werks

Learn. Practice. Build.

Changing lives through automotive education.
