A proud milestone for Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 (DSH2) as we are honoured with the Specialty Hospital of the Year (Women’s) award at the Healthcare Asia Awards.

This recognition reflects the exceptional care delivered by our Obstetricians & Gynaecologists — Prof. Dr. Imelda Balchin, Dr. Liew Yen Eit, and Dr. Haliza Kamarudin — whose dedication continues to make a meaningful difference in women’s health.

A key highlight of our achievement is DSH2’s dedicated preterm birth management programme, focused on early detection, specialist intervention, and coordinated care for high-risk pregnancies. With a 98% success rate for Shirodkar cerclage procedures and mature deliveries, this reflects our strong clinical protocols and subspecialist expertise.

The award was received on our behalf by the Chief Operating Officer of KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Dato’ Mohamad Farid Salim.
