“Work” sometimes brings you to thrilling places. I spent yesterday with Robert Trent Jones Jr and Robert Tent Jones III touring Firestone Country Club in Ohio, listening to Bob explain the golf architecture of a famous course his father designed 60+ years ago. Between the three Trent Jones’s, they have done over 700 courses around the world, and boy do they have some stories! taken in Firestone Country Club Akron Ohio by @dsigel88

Big day in Bluffton! Ben got engaged to the brilliant, spirited, lovely @hadleyajones who we can’t wait to add to the fam, followed by an awesome surprise visit by her family, and preceded by a hole in one at Berkeley Hall. What a great start to 2026! taken in Bluffton, South Carolina by @dsigel88

Ben’s college golf career came to an end this weekend at the NCAA national championship. It was a great year for the Jayhawks with a program record 5 wins, and a deep run in the post season. Being part of this program has been such an honor and so much fun. We’ve traveled to amazing places and made great friends throughout the KU and golf communities. So proud of Ben for being a leader on and off the course, and of all his teammates and coaches who have KU Golf going places! Thank you, KU and Rock Chalk! Cleaning out the storage room, which means unearthing long lost memories - like this one from the URI Sailing Team visit to Lake Minnetonka, circa 1988. Peter Cusick, nice graphics on the official University vehicle! by @dsigel88
