Fall is a popular season for mountain photography and hiking around the San Juan National Forest. As a friendly reminder: Railroad tracks are private property.

Never walk on or play near the rails, avoid taking photo portraits on active tracks, and cross only at designated public crossings. Trains cannot stop quickly—stay safe and view the train from a safe distance!
