FAM SPOTLIGHT 🫂

Introducing this AMAZING FAM!! 🩷 @noralbrannan from the Beta Alpha PC is taking us throughout her day on our Instagram story 🎥

“I love my DSP fam! When I first sat down with my big Maddy, she gave me the piece of advice to think about the type of relationship that you want to have with your fam. I glad I sat and thought with that because it led me to mine! My first semester in DSP I had Maddy, Katie, and Evan (my big, g big, and gg big) all on campus with me. I loved all the time I spent with them that semester and it was such an amazing introduction to DSP. They were all there for me (and still are) whenever I needed advice, a laugh, or I was hungry and wanted to go try a new restaurant. Last spring when Maddy was abroad, Katie and I held down the fort on campus and I loved having the time to get closer with her too. The whole family including Divya and Justine was reunited for Katie’s graduation in May. This was such a special weekend to have us all there together celebrating Katie. I’m so lucky and I wouldn’t know and love these people if it weren’t for DSP!”

FAM SPOTLIGHT 🫂

Last semester @hukhfung (Beta Beta PC) took on his two littles, @deano425 and @davidwwan from the Beta Gamma PC‼️

“Honestly my DSP family has become some of my closest friends at Syracuse, I know I can go to them for anything. Hukh has been a great big for David and I, we know we’d all be down for anything which has made my experience at Syracuse so much better since coming out for DSP my freshman year. Some of my favorite memories have been the fam dinners at Blu Monkey, Hot Pot, any type of good eats. It’s always nice to wind down and catch some grub, especially when all we do is fool around and have a good time. Outside of this, Hukh, David, and my Gbig Adam have been great guys to have by my side who have given me great advice whenever I need it and I know we all got each others back. Shoutout the rest of New N3on fam with Riana, Kenzie, and Stef. I’m super glad DSP brought us together the way that it did.”

“I’m genuinely so lucky to be part of New N3on. I have an amazing big, Adam Doherty, who has always been there for me, my two littles, Dean and David, and my cousin Riana as well as my aunt Mackenzie. Being part of this fam has honestly given me some of my closest friendships and a real sense of brotherhood. A lot of my favorite moments are honestly the random ones, whether it’s late-night hangouts or sending a text and somehow being on the golf course 30 minutes later. But what I appreciate even more is that everyone is actually there for each other when it matters. Adam has basically been a class advisor for me and someone I can always go to for advice, and I’ve loved being able to do the same for my littles with recruitment, or whatever they need. One thing I really value about New N3on is the competence and ambition everyone brings. We care about academics, careers, and doing well, but at the end of the day we’re also just really close friends who enjoy being around each other. That balance is what makes the fam special to me.

FAM SPOTLIGHT 🫂

Last semester, @kerubo_mekenye (Beta Alpha PC) took on her little @nolimitfou and @ti_ma2007 both from the Beta Gamma PC ‼️

“Before DSP I thought the term “perfect match” couldn’t be true. It wasn’t until I met Kerubo that I realized perfect match was referring to me and her as big and little. Like any new experience joining DSP made me a little bit nervous, but this all changed once I talked to Kerubo. Our big little interview revealed all of our similarities from sharing the exact same favorite Drake song to wearing the same pandora birthstone ring on the same hand. I had never met someone so kind and genuine and finding out that she was my big was one of the best moments I have had since being at SU. Kerubo has been such an amazing mentor for me but most importantly she has grown to become one of my best friends. My fam means the entire world to me! My twin Fou is the funniest most hard working person I know. I grew up as the oldest sister and Fou is like the brother I never had. We get along like real siblings and I wouldn’t trade our bond for the world! To many more sibling car rides blasting music for all of Cuse to hear and sneaking you in to the dining hall. I LOVE YOU BOTH!”
