CELL 101: KNOW YOUR STATUS

Join DSU NAACP x NSBWN x NMDP x HEALING ACADEMY for a FREE Sickle Cell Screening on Thursday, October 1 from 11 AM–2 PM at the MLK Student Center!

Your health matters. This quick screening gives you the opportunity to find out if you carry the sickle cell trait. The test takes less than 5 minutes and requires only a small blood sample.

✨ What to expect:
• Quick intake process
• Health screening
• Medical resources
• Volunteer & community service opportunities
• Hands-on experience for volunteers

We’re also looking for volunteers, especially nursing students or anyone with experience handling blood samples and testing instruments. Come gain hands-on experience while helping provide an important health resource to our DSU community! ❤️
