New year, new donation drop-off times! 🕐 DTCare is committed to supporting vulnerable communities around the world. Your generous contributions are fundamental to sending surplus goods from the United States to those who need them most.

To ensure efficient processing and maximize our volunteers' time, we accept donations in person at our location *only* 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗦𝗧. Please call us at 412 262 2755 to schedule a drop-off outside these designated hours.

It's International Literacy Day! 📚 Today, we celebrate over 60 children part of DTCare education initiatives who forge ahead daily to overcome incredible - and often crippling - barriers to education.

Quality education can unlock a brighter future and help break the cycle of poverty for so many children worldwide. 🗝️ That is why we are working to bridge the gap between formal education and underprivileged youth in Africa, Central America, and Europe.

📦 Майже 4 тонни допомоги вже передано в Україні — і це ще не все!

У серпні наша команда в Україні розподілила 29 палет із найнеобхіднішими речами: медичним обладнанням, засобами гігієни, дитячими речами, одягом та матеріалами для арттерапії.

Ще 4 360 кг допомоги вирушили із США наприкінці вересня і зараз на шляху до України.

Дякуємо місцевим школам, @globalstudiesmtl , православній церкві Св. Володимира та іншим церквам, @junkluggersofpgh , а також нашим партнерам з постачання медикаментів, місцевому бізнесу, донорам і волонтерам за допомогу у зборі та наданні найнеобхіднішого для тих, хто цього найбільше потребує 💙💛

📦 Nearly 4 tonnes of aid distributed in Ukraine — with more on the way.

In August, our Ukraine team distributed 29 pallets of essential supplies, including medical equipment, hygiene products, children’s essentials, clothing, and art therapy materials.

Another 4,360 kg of aid shipped from the U.S. in late September and is on its way.

Thank you to local schools, @globalstudiesmtl, St. Vladimir Orthodox Church and other churches, @junkluggersofpgh, our medical supply partners, local businesses, donors, and volunteers for helping get these supplies where they’re needed 💙💛

Over 9,000 kg of aid. Two destinations. Countless helping hands. 🤝📦

Our shipments for Ukraine and Lebanon have left the port! 🚢 On board: 600 hygiene kits, 216 pairs of slippers, 116 buckets of wipes, specialty orthotics, 80+ wheelchairs, 455 boxes of hospital essentials, and much more.

Thank you to our donors, volunteers, LeboCares, local high school helpers, exports team, and our regional teams preparing to receive these shipments in Lebanon and Ukraine.

Юридична підтримка – частина програми «Компасу Героя», яка триває і після завершення заїзду.

За квітень–серпень 2026 року наша юридична команда провела понад 240 індивідуальних консультацій та щонайменше 11 групових юридичних зустрічей. Юристи допомагають ветеранам і ветеранкам із питаннями ВЛК, виплат, пенсій, відновлення документів, житла та працевлаштування. Якщо справа потребує часу, підтримка продовжується після програми: команда аналізує документи й супроводжує подальші кроки.

У каруселі — підсумок цієї роботи. Надалі оновлюватимемо результати юридичної команди.

Legal support is part of the Hero’s Compass program and continues after each retreat ends.

From April to August 2026, our legal team provided more than 240 individual consultations and held at least 11 group legal sessions. The lawyers help veterans with Military Medical Commission (MMC) assessments, payments, pensions, document restoration, housing, and employment. When a case takes longer to resolve, support continues after the program: the team reviews documents and helps participants with the next steps.

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined our Donation Sorting and Packing Event this past weekend! Your time and teamwork helped prepare donated supplies, from wheelchairs and walkers to toys, for our final shipments of the year to Ukraine and Lebanon.
