Been waiting on a sunny day to photograph my finished mural but unfortunately rainy and gloomy days aren’t leaving us soon…

“Las Raíces no se olvidan” is my most personal and biggest mural yet.
Thank you @chromazonefest @cezmsp especially Angela for this opportunity! ❣️ and ofc thank you Peter, the owner of this building.

Thank you to my friends/family who volunteered to help me paint, bring food and good company. Thank you to the sweet people of St. Paul for all the encouragement and wonderful stories and words being shouted across the street. Thank you to my husband, my life line who kept me and the mural going even when my knees and arms wanted to give up.

This is for the art community, the Latino community, Immigrants, the eldest daughters/children of immigrants, and of course my parents. <3

Check it out on Vandalia st x Ellis Ave

⭐️ happy international children’s book day! ⭐️

Next month Milo + Niko will be 5 years old 🥹❣️ what started out as random school project and an outlet for grief for my grandma, quickly turned into my dreams come true. Looking back at fresh out of art school D, she didn’t give herself enough time to appreciate/take in the love and hard work it actually took to have a published book. - after getting a bit burnt out from work, life, health and learning how to slow down and appreciate my life as freelance illustrator hopefully soon I can do this all over again 🤞🏽

Here are some og pre published Milo + Niko content 🐅🌱

ahh had to decompress from art a whirl weekend this week 🥲 but just wanted to remind everyone thank you for coming out and supporting me and @squigglysardine last weekend! It meant the world to me to see how many people loved our work and chatted with us! And a HUGE thank you to @worker.b for hosting us! <3
